Could not complete the work satisfactorily

We wanted our front door frame fixed so we could keep our solid oak, beveled glass door. Other contractors wanted to rip everything out and replace everything new. They told us that a repair was not possible. Estimates were in the thousands. Beautiful homes by Thomas did exactly what we wanted for around $500. Very satisfied. Would hire again.

I have a large, three-floor, 108-year-old house and the galvanized water pipes had never been replaced. Because of the condition of the water pipes, two upstairs bathroom showers no longer had hot water. All of the water lines were replaced with new pvc lines, and the job was performed in a very creative way, causing minimal disruption and little need for reconstruction of walls. For example, the lines to the second floor were installed through an old laundry chute and below the floor so that the tile in the bathrooms remained intact. The ceramic tile that replaced the old floor covering was expertly installed and looks beautiful. In one bathroom a wall had to be opened for repair and when the tile was removed, wainscoting was recommended and efficiently installed. In addition, attention was given to making the baseboard similar to other woodwork in the house. All of the workers who were involved in these renovations had expert knowledge, worked efficiently (and cheerfully!) each day. They patiently explained what they were doing and why they were doing it. They even stepped over my elderly collie who loves to be in the center of whatever is going on! I will definitely use this business again for future renovations, and I unequivocally recommend Beautiful Homes by Thomas.

We wanted a light over our bathroom sink's mirror. BH gave a reasonable price, though it wasn't the lowest. The electrician came on time and did the work. He even put the wall paper back that he had to take down in order to connect the light to the light switch. He grounded the light on the cold water pipe. Everything has worked well since. My one complaint was that when we set up a date for the estimate, Thomas did not show up. I called him after a half hour or so. He said that he came to the house and knocked on the door. I assured him no one knocked on my door in the last hour. It turned out he went to the wrong house, which was of course an honest mistake. But he was not especially apologetic either.

He scored in terms of quality and excellence. The price was just average. He was on time. Tom has good, creative ideas.

Told us where to buy best dishwasher for cheapest. Gave quote. Thought quote was too much. Looked around, others were more expensive. Came and did work in timely manner. Work done well.

It went really well.Tom took his time with me.We went looking for everything.He knew what I wanted.He made my Dream a Reality....I can't say enough about him.What a Nice Guy he is....I got other estimates from a couple other places,I felt rushed when they came over our house.When Tom showed up.I felt very comfortable with him.He took his time and explained everything to me.He would suggest things that would also work in the Bathroom.

They did a wonderful job for us. Everything was handled with care and they had many good suggestions for us. They had to come back to put flashing on and their response time was within 30 minutes. This is probably what impressed me most about them. They stand behind their work. There was no extra charge for the flashing.

Beautiful Homes by Thomas did a fantastic job installing our new roof. I was very satisfied with their workmanship and that they cleaned up after themselves once the job was complete.
