Baughman Magic Seal Inc

If the purpose of sealing a driveway is to create a membrane to protect it, then I paid $100 for nothing. My driveway was left with several exposed cracks that will continue to grow nicely this winter. Then I got an argument on the phone when I called to request a touch-up. Baughman is Magic BS. Worthless.

I had a black top driveway originally. When they poured the apron, the width was a foot less that my new cement driveway. There was no response from the contractor when I attempted to contact them about the issue. I ended up having to fix the issue myself.

Slow start. Overall good work - one spot shows some grass in the paved area in the lip

It was delayed by weather but once done was very pleased.

Did a good job.

No edging was preformed although I believe it was suppose to be included so some of the grass and dirt got sealed. The seal it self seems thine and is losing color fast, so it seems I will need to reseal again next year. Marks all over the drive way outlining the places where the squeegee was. Cracks where really not looking any better, to me it seems like it may have been watered down becasue it was so thin, this is my opinion.

update 8/27 parts of the sealeant are coming of the edges of the drive way where grass was sealed and dirt was. I hate to see what is will look like by next summer. definatly will not use or recomend. price was changed to bad because considering the the quality was bad, the price should been much lower.

I called very late in the season and hoped to get an appointment. They told me that I probably wouldn't have any nice enough days left in the year to perform the job but they would put me on a waiting list. When some nicer weather came in, they called and set up the appointment immediately. They also called and confirmed the appointment the day before.
When I got home the day they sealed my driveway, everything was finished as I expected and it looked great. Not only were they able to accommodate me late in the season, they told me that they will contact me next year to set up an appointment if I was interested. This will prevent me from scrambling at the end of the year to find someone to seal my driveway.

They are prompt and work very quickly.

All I know is that when I call them up they just have to price the work on my driveway because they already have the dimensions. I just tell them to come on a certain day and they just come when I am gone. I spent maybe $90 on that service.

The guy came out and did the estimate. He told me what he was going to do and did it. It looks great so far. The one that I had was 25 years old and it was due for some service. Overall, he was excellent. I use them every year, but they used to just seal my black top driveway. They used to put a liquid tar emulsion over the asphalt to seal it. It helps preserve the driveway and makes it impervious to oil or transmission fluid or other things that might leak on to it. It only costs $75 for them to come out and do it. This is the first time that they have done any extensive work.

They came as scheduled, applied sealant, placed a cone at the foot of the driveway and left. I was at work, but my wife was downstairs doing laundry and they didn't let her know they were working. Her car was in the garage. She got ready to leave and saw the marker at the foot of the drive. She had to leave for an appointment and drove the car over the fresh sealant. We called the company and they said not to worry, they'd come out and retouch the drive at no cost to us if any marks were left or spots uncovered by sealant.

Performed work quickly and efficiently. Arrived on time. Left an invoice on the doorknob. We called the office with couple of questions which were answered accurately and pleasantly.

Baughmans Magic Seal gave me a very good price for the job that they did. I didn't need to be home when they came out, so it was very convenient. I would recommend them to friends and family.
