I would UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE use this company. Unprofesional and incompetent. We live in city of Buffalo in 100 year old home.We hired Adema Heating to replace a high efficiency boiler in Oct 2020., including a new hot water tank. The cost was approximately 13K. The boiler never worked properly resulting in many service calls over the next year that cost 100's of additional $$. The boiler finally failed completely Dec 21/Jan 22. First, a radiator pipe froze and burst in entry vestibule, causing only minor water damage in tiled vestibule and basement. We were out of town January when boiler failed again, and temperature inside house dropped below 40 degrees, resulting in additional pipes freezing. We had a housekeeper staying in house while we were away. Both she and we phoned Adema multiple times prior to pipes bursting, asking them to immediately assess and rectify the situation. We were told to "press reset" on boiler. Burst pipe in living room ceiling caused extensive damage and destroying antique piano. Damage assessed by Chubb insurance was over 24 K We had a master plumber consult the situation, after the pipes burst, along with an Adema representative and a rep from the boiler manufacturer, Dunkirk. It turned out that the boiler was installed "hung" improperly. The boiler had tried to restart inself electronically over 30K times. We hired the outside plumber to "rehang"/reinstall boiler and the too small water tank at cost of over 7K. The past week the mother board on boiler failed as a result of over 30K restarts, we just replaced part 500$ plus additional 1K labor. Both my husband and I have tried calling Adema multiple times over past year to speak with owner Kyle. OWNER REFUSES TO RETURN CALLS. Aside from 13K for initial installation, this has cost us approximately an additional 25K in out of pocket expenses, besides untold aggravation

Adema installed a new hot water heater in November, 2020 and it was broken in January, 2022, just 2 month after the warranty for the labor. I got a new bill of $386.06. I need to pay more than 1/3 of a new hot water heater. When they sold the hot water heater, they said that it was a great brand. I used my older water heater for more than 15 years without any problem. I feel like that they sold a low quality product. According to their invoice, what they did is to replace gas control valve. I google searched and found out that the average cost of labor for this job is $50 to $250 ([*** Link removed ***] They claimed that the part was free. I requested a proof but they have not sent one yet. Instead they charge me 1.5 to 8 times national average. Buffalo's cost of living is lower than national average.

They came and gave me an estimate quickly. My furnace had to be ordered and it was installed the day after it arrived in town. The installers were very nice, arrived on time and cleaned up all their debris.

The work was done very cleanly and professionally. The installers came on time and worked throughout the day to complete the installation. The placement of the condensor on the pad outside was done very well. The system is working as promised.

We are long time Adema customers. Here is why we will never use anyone else. We have owned our home for 26 years. Within two to three years of buying our home we called another heating company (I don’t recall the name) to service our boiler solely because their hours were more convenient than Adema. That other company told us we needed a new boiler. That would have cost us thousands at a time we really couldn’t afford it. We then called Adema for a second opinion. Our boiler did need repairs. Adema repaired it at the cost of about $350 to the best of my recollection. (It was definitely less than $500). We still have the same boiler today and since that time it has only needed routine inspections and servicing. Adema is honest, fair, capable and reliable. Most importantly Adema saved us thousands of dollars and has done the work necessary to keep our home safe and warm.
