It should also be noted that Rick is incredibly personable, and openly invites clients to walk through every step of the home inspection with him. I would definitely recommend Richard Pezzino and AccuView Services.

"THANK YOU! I enjoyed walking through the home with your Dad and your contractor."
"THANK YOU!"
Rick was thorough. I was reluctant to hire an inspector referred to me by a realtor, but friends of mine spoke highly of Rick. My fear was that he would do a basic inspection and give me obvious advice. Turns out I had nothing to fear.
Rick spent about an hour in the basement checking walls, gas lines, water lines, the electrical service, and the sewage. He inspected most of the power outlets, and tagged in his report anything that needed attention. He checked the water pressure, and gave me suggestions on how to fix everything.
On the outside of the house, he checked the electrical service, health of the roof, the garage, and even noted some odd things that he suggested I get looked at when I take possession because it could give me a headache (wide spacing in garage roof rafters).
He inspected the grounds thoroughly. Brought binoculars to get a great view of every inch of the house.
On the first and second floors, he made notes of issues with windows (damaged seals, cracks), and evaluated with me on whether they should be replaced or not. He gave perspective on everything.
He is clean too. Gloves and foot coverings during the entire inspection.
Rick had answers for everything. There was one odd plumbing setup that was difficult to explain. Rick didn't know why the owners did it, but he was able to let me know how to fix it quickly. He also advised me that my hot water tank was old, and that I should buy one now because the regulations have changed, making new ones much more expensive.
Great guy. Super friendly. Operated quickly. Didn't charge me a dime over what he provided. Additionally, he had his full 45 page report to me the next day (which was a Sunday!).
"THANK YOU for your kind works!!!"
He found some major problems that we were already aware of but was able to expand on the scope of the issue, he was respectful to both our agent and the sellers agent but reported to us his opinion even when it varied from what the agents were saying. He referred us to additional inspection due to a major structural issue. We were aware of some issues that the home seller was fixing, he found additional problems that need a second look.
I will call him again the next time I need an inspection.
"THANK YOU for your kind words!!"
Within 18 hours I received a detailed report with many pictures detailing all aspects of the property I wished to purchase.
He even knocked off $25 because he finished earlier than he expected as the property is small.
I highly recommend this company.
Also, it was suggested to have a radon test because of high levels in a couple nearby homes that had high levels and a map that showed possible problems. Despite not having a basement, I decided to trust Rick. I am glad I did. People were telling me there is almost no likelihood of radon without a basement. Was this a money grab? NO! I was saved a great deal of money and headaches (literally?) thanks to Rick's knowledge.
