I had to have the guy come back because the work was incomplete. He complained the whole time about the work that needed to be done at the price he quoted to me. I would have rather paid more money to go with someone else than deal with the lack of professionalism.

After the sticker-shock of asbestos removal costs, encapsulation made sense, and A to Z Insulation made it easy, prompt, and affordable. If only all projects around my 100+-year-old home could be resolved so satisfactorily!

Very positive experience

We had made a decision to have the loose wrapping removed and the few pipes that we actually had . . . rewrapped rather than add this kind of waste to the CWM dump. They were reasonable in the cost proposal. They went up in price when they realized that some of our vents were wider than normal so materials would cost more. We knew this ahead of time. We had reached our limit for the expense but agreed to the new figures. They were prompt, experienced, and the work was done quickly and neatly. We were left with a copy of their NYS certificate for being certified to do this work, a letter in writing of what they did and when. They and we signed it. If we ever sell the house we were told these papers may be used to show that we did take care of the asbestos in our house in a very responsible way. There should be no problems from real estate people or perspective buyers. That was comforting.

We researched the pros and cons of removing or containing asbestos hot water pipe insulation for a year and I think this was the way to go. It is totally and neatly contained, the insulating properties are, if anything, improved, and we did not send more asbestos to the CWM landfill, or disturb and release it into the house. The service was excellent, a little expensive but comparatively pretty good, and if and when the time comes to sell, we can show the work was done by a certified professional in asbestos mitigation.

Need asbestos wrapped vents removed. They came in and removed the vents just fine! All for a fair price. Would do business with them again.
