All went very well

Very well, arrived on time, kept all surroundings clean and were super conscious of everything.

Work was done prior to my moving into the house so I have no benchmark to determine if my house is better
insulated.

However, I would not recommend Enviorcare because they are NOT NYSERDA certified (I only discovered this after
the work was done) so a homeowner will not receive any state subsidies but even if they were,  I still wouldn't recommend them to anyone because I found the rep, Chris Puleo, who's also a junior partner to be at times condescending.  Whenever, I had questions about the borate cellulose material, the work being done and the cost, the tone on his voice was never welcoming.   It was as if I was bothering him and I felt as I was being scolded.  He has very in-your-face personality.  I spoke to owner, Rich McHale about Chris's obnoxious behavior and he laughed it off and said, "...I don't know what you want me to say..."

Also, initially I was rejected on the 1 year interest-free financing program.  It turned out it was because I had put my rental address instead of the home address but when it was rectified, I asked Envirocare to put the $3K deposit with the entire loan, Chris called me to say it would cause problems; a liability issue?  Huh?  My gut tells me it was all about money; them not losing any.

Recently, in early January '16,  I emailed their Marketing Director, Rob Rieger, about having one of their Technicians (other than Chris Puleo) to come back to my house with a thermal imaging camera to see how well of a job Envirocare did with properly insulating my house as one room is still very cold.  I had to email Rob again after 3 weeks to get an update and he tells me on 1/27/16 that he would be get back on my scheduling someone to come out and ".. I would appreciate it if you could take your negative review down that is still up on Angie?s List as previously discussed."   

Over a month has passed and I have not heard from Rob again.  I guess this is what Rob means "mutually beneficial relationship."  I wonder how many other negative reviews are missing from Angie's List because of this "arrangement."  I will not compromise my integrity so will not delete my negative but will only update it once a company rectifies a situation.  

If you decide to use Envirocare, make sure they come back with a thermal imaging camera to assess their work since the insulation is behind the walls.  Keep in mind that Envirocare uses borate cellulose and I heard about other products available in the marketplace.  Do some research as this company does not like cellulose in the walls because it settles over time and prefer tri-polymer foam.

This did happen a very long time ago, but I distinctly remember NOT being at all happy with them, and feeling like I had been ripped off.  And remember thinking they were not at all professional.  they might have different dates and cost (it could have been more) in their records.  I'm sorry I don't recall those details.

Great at explaining options and pros/cons. Decided to add 5k more for basement because we felt comfortable. Reasonably priced 15k although they don't do the NY loan program so keep that in mind for financing. Team was prompt and efficient, accommodating with schedules. We had some significant miscommunication, however, and when we asked for a walk thru, we got some pretty nasty emails back from the project manager who had not been as present on the job as we were led to believe he would be. Eventually owners who are the same from JP McHale pest made it right. Shame because workers were very good.

It went great.  They were reasonably priced, had a very professional crew and were highly responsive to any concern we had.  When we had a problem, both Frank and Chris come to check it out.  They did the right thing throughout.

They were very professional, did everything they said and did a good job.

Estimate was clear, and the technicians were punctual, friendly, and the work was done fast. Hopefully I will never have need of their services again, but if I did, I would definitely go with Envirocare.

Recently had air ducts cleaned my home. The staff was prompt and neat and did an excellent job. The cost is a bit more than others but the quality is there. The team went the extra mile to fix a dryer vent while they were here. I would definitely use them again.

We really liked the fact that we could hire one company, who we trust, to do so many different types of jobs. We had different consultants come to our house and discuss the various issues we were interested in resolving, often providing alternative solutions. Their sales staff were never pushy and never used gimmicks like some others we consulted with. All offers were given in writing with plenty of time to review and think over (I've noticed several other companies here try to give "special offers", only if we sign before their sales staff left. None of that with Envirocare). 
We ended up scheduling all of our jobs at the same time and had various members of their team work at our house. The insulation took a few days, followed by the roof cleaning (lots of moss), and water diversion. The night before all of the jobs were to be finish our sump pump failed resulting in a flooded basement. It was great being able to have them squeeze in some extra work getting our basement back in order.
 We were impressed with the professionalism and the quality of work done around our house. The water remediation job placed drainage under our patio and the jobs was done so cleanly, if we weren't home to watch them do it, I wouldn't have known any work was done. Will definitely be calling again.

I had a positive experience with all of the people from Envirocare.  Chris Puleo and Jean Hammerman were extremely knowledgeable and provided options that made our decision very easy.  Jose and his team did an excellent job performing the work and were very courteous and professional.  I had spoken with six different companies and Envirocare was the most professional.  I would be happy to use them again and highly recommend them.

We had mold growing on our HVAC units which blew mold spores throughout the apartment. The HVAC units leaked on the floor and mold growth was apparent there as well. In addition, there was a leaky pipe in our ceiling so they cleaned the walls and surrounding areas.  They were wonderful from the beginning.  Rich was my contact throughout and he has been so helpful.  The apartment is now clean and safe thanks to Envirocare. Everything looks great and brand new.  Amazing job.

They did the work with minimum guidance from me. They were courteous and clean. They park the truck in the back, funnel a big tube from the truck through my bathroom from the outside into the attic.

Insulated basement, entire attic crawl space, added duct to bathroom ceiling fan, added access door to eaves.

The firm is very professional and extremely knowledgeable.  It worked well in conjunction with Turtle Clan Laboratory Testing Company to establish and continue a remediation protocol as remediation progressed and as retests were taken.  It coordinated very well with other contractors.  It was very sensitive to the concerns of us, the homeowners, regarding the complete remediation of mold throughout the home and also were extremely thorough in its follow-through and follow-up.  It was very detailed in its approach and we are extremely happy with the results and would definitely recommend the firm.

We were very pleased with how hard Envirocare worked to help devise a solution to our attic insulation issue. They performed the work on time and on budget over a 4 day period and it was a very dirty and challenging job. We were pleased with the professionalism of their work and the final product.
