We are a family owned and operated company with 20 employees (no sub-contractors). Window We Are, Inc. has over 10,000 windows in stock for contractors or the handy homeowner to pick up and install themselves. We also, offer professional installations through out Brooklyn, Manhattan and Staten Island. We have the largest stock of windows in the NYC area. Our own installers installed 9500 + Windows last year and growing! Our goal is to meet the window needs for all our customers residentially or commercial. Not only do we have a large selection in stock, we offer an even larger selection of windows that can be custom ordered. Ranging from vinyl, aluminum, wood clad and all wood windows. The windows I ordered contain argon gas which keeps the apartment cooler in the summer -very important since my windows face west.
The windows tilt in for cleaning. One of them came loose from the frame months after the installation. I called and someone was sent to repair the window.
About a year later I was having a problem opening and closing one window. Once again I called and a worker was sent to adjust the mechanism.
Basically I am very satisfied with the quality and service and the reliability of this company. Even after four years I would feel comfortable calling them again if I had a problem with any of the windows.
I have recommended them to anyone I know who is replacing the windows in apartments or private homes.
I continue to use them for other projects and I feel comfortable recommending them.
When I called about difficulties with lifting a couple of screens, they sent their chief measurer to check and then ordered two new replacements.
All of the workers were friendly, efficient, courteous and professional.
