I recently needed to have a wall repaired in my home. Vinny from VJV Home Improvements looked at the job and gave me a reasonable quote. He was able to repair it quickly and did a fantastic job. You can't even see where the repair is. Vinny is a pleasure to work with and he is quick to respond and does not leave you hanging. I will call VJV anytime i need something done in my home.

Vinny painted my bedroom and repaired several cracks in the ceiling. He communicates well, shows up when he says he'll be there, and is fast and efficient. He also takes the necessary steps to protect furniture and carpets and cleans up after the job is completed. He did a great job. I will definitely hire him again when the need arises and recommend him to friends.

My ceilings and walls in basement area were badly damaged due to installation of new gas lines. I hired Vinnie from VJV to do the repairs and would highly recommend him. I can't even tell where the sheet rock was replaced and he came exactly when he said he would, worked all day, and even cleaned up everything . His work is terrific and I will now be hiring him to do more work here when he is free. A pleasure to do business with him and great job!!

They did a great job. Removed an old wall-in AC. Put sheet rock up and insulation. Could never tell AC was ever there! Also did ceiling repairs. Great job , Vinny!

I finally have the bathroom I love, thanks to Vinny . Always on time and always leaves the space clean. Very open to my suggestions and we got along very well. He is a perfectionist and will always do the best job possible.

VJV did a great job painting my entire apartment, including the ceilings. They also did nice work on some ceiling repairs from an old leak, and replaced my bathroom vanity and medicine cabinet. Finally, they installed some new lighting fixtures. All the work was top notch and professionally done. The team was great to work with and cleaned up nicely after all the jobs. I highly recommend them.

Vincents reviews were great. The first day we met him for a consultation we knew those reviews were accurate. Vincent is talented, honest and reliable. He is patient and explains everything to you. If something can not or needs to be done, he will explain why. He uses top-notch professionals for all his work. Vincent is extremely punctual and progress is made on a daily basis. He is extremely proud of his work and refuses to take shortcuts with customer satisfaction always on his mind. I highly recommend VJV for all your home improvement work. Our home is now beautiful, and we are extremely satisfied with all his work and will definitely call on him for our future projects.

Funny installed floating floors in my living room and dining area. His work is impeccable and the floors are beautiful. He takes great care in getting the job done right. I appreciated his input in choosing the right color selection for my space. It makes my space bright and spacious. He got the job done in the time promised. Vincent came to our home within 24 hours and gave us an estimate. The work was done beautifully. We are hiring him for another project as well! He was courteous, knowledgeable. SP cleaned up after himself, and it was a wonderful experience hiring him!

Vinny was fantastic to work with. Communication was easy and prompt, and his work was on-time and budget. He did a range of repair work in our home, including sealing a tile shower, repairing loose flooring and minor carpentry. I would highly recommend him for similar work and would happily use him again.

Vinny was professional, neat and the price was fair. His work is above and beyond what I expected. I had a leak from my upstairs bathroom and it ruined my ceiling in my laundry room. Vinny gave me a free estimate, and explained to me the process in full detail. He removed my entire ceiling and replaced it with new sheetrock and compound. I then had him paint it white.

I recently purchased a condo with some issues, including no heat in the bathrooms. I decided to renovate them with VJV, and install wall heaters. In one of the bathrooms, the heater provides zero benefit (I think its installed too high). I noticed this in the spring and mentioned it. Vinny implied I was crazy, he said it was fine. I decided to wait to see how would perform in the winter. Now its late November and its still freezing in the bathroom. When I told Vinny, he made patronizing comments, and told me to contact an HVAC guy. Heating the bathroom was THE major reason I did the renovation. Also never followed up with loose ends left during the rest of the projects.

Vinny and Anthony are great guys. They work very neatly, they cleaned up each day as they worked, they are very hard working and honest. I would recommend them in a quick second.

I can not say enough great things about Vinny and VJV Home Improvements. My family and I suffered a catastrophic flood in our apartment due to a plumbing issue one year ago, and it took several months of insurance interactions, as well as mold and asbestos remediation, until we were finally ready to select a contractor to complete the final step of installing over 1000 square feet (including three furnished bedrooms) of new laminate flooring, removing and replacing all of the baseboard moldings, and finally painting the entire apartment with the exception of the bathrooms. We navigated through at least half a dozen contractors, enduring unreturned phone calls, no-shows at appointments for estimates, and the inability to face off with our building's documentation requirements. Then we found Vinny. He returned every phone call and email promptly, and when he came to our home to do the estimate, he very honestly told us that we would have to wait six weeks for him to get to us, and that the work would take longer than what any other contractor had told us. Even during his first visit (and before he even submitted his estimate), Vinny made suggestions in regard to my project plan that turned out to be spot on as we later proceeded with the work. Vinny was also very flexible in providing documentation to our building management, who can be quite difficult to deal with. In addition, rather than trying to make the job easier for himself (which unfortunately was the approach taken by some of the other contractors we spoke with), Vinny proved himself to be even more meticulous than yours truly. Vinny's was not the lowest estimate we received, but it was by far the most realistic, and his work was worth every penny and more. He arrived promptly each morning, provided us a status report at the end of each day, and finished a week early. As I said, I am meticulous, and even after walking around our apartment for four days I can not find a single thing that should have been done differently or better. At one point near the end of the project, Vinny found a tiny manufacturing defect in one of the laminate planks (which we very likely would not even have spotted), and since it was several rows back from where he had ended up that day, he said that we wanted to think overnight about what to do about it . As I knew he would, he came back in the next morning and backed out the installation to the point of the defect, installed a new plank and re-installed the remaining floor. I've worked with several other contractors who would have neither fixed nor even informed us about such a defect at all. I will definitely be using VJV again for some upcoming bathroom renovations, and I will wait as long as I need to in order to be able to do so. I never thought that I would be able to unequivocally recommend any contractor, but I am glad to say that I can do so for VJV and Vinny.

Very responsive, always returning calls, shows up on time. Left the place almost immaculate (only furniture dusting and wet sweeping was necessary) considering the job done (take down walls, re-insulate and soundproof, put up walls again, and paint). Friends could not believe work had been done in the house. Very satisfied and would highly recommend Vinny.

From my first inquiry to the day my kitchen renovation was completed, Vinny was incredibly responsive. He returned emails and phone calls always within the same day. He showed up on time, completed the work he said he was going to within the timeframe and budget we agreed to and was committed to a quality job. VJV (Vinny)is the only company I will ever use for all home improvement projects because his work is perfection. To date he has renovated an outdated bathroom installing tiles with perfection and precision. He also replaced a small outdated kitchen sink and faucet with a larger sink necessitating drilling, etc. with perfection.No job is too big or small. He is a master at his craft, capable of performing any home improvement project. In addition, he is neat, personable and will assist and suggest ideas making sure the renovation required is at best perfection. I recommend this top notch company.

Vinnie was there right after the leak from the upstairs toilet was found. He was on time every day till the work was done. He repaired the tiles ripped up and the replaced the sheet rock and painted the ceiling that was damaged by the leak. When finished it looked as good as new.

I hired VJV Home Improvements to paint my house and install new moldings. Vinny was neat, professional, showed up on time and completed the job before the projected end date. He helped me with color choices and gave me a great price for everything. I highly recommend him and will hire him again for future projects.

Vinny (VJV) did the renovation in our old outdated bathroom. He removed the tile from the floor and walls and took out the sink, light fixture and toilet. The walls in our bathroom are concrete and far from straight, but given Vinny's patience, expertise and exceptional attention to detail, he placed the tiles perfectly straight with no hint of a problem. Vinny is friendly and goes out of his way to explain what he's doing. He answered all our questions and concerns and made us feel that we were in good hands, which we definitely were. He also has a keen eye for decoration and was very helpful in our final choice for trim. Today Vinny and crew finished our bathroom and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. My new fabulous bathroom is beautiful and I'm thrilled. Thank you Vinny. You're the best!

Last year my kitchen and bathroom were completely renovated, and this year my flooring, base molding and doorway/closet saddles were replaced throughout my apartment (and my apartment was re-painted as well). VJV Home Improvements ("VJV") did all of the work, and at a reasonable cost. You never know how a job will turn out until it's completed, but VJV did not disappoint me. From start to finish of each job, Vincent (VJV's owner-contractor) was most courteous and dependable, very patient with questions, highly knowledgeable in all aspects of the work, and extremely skilled in the execution of the work (which included, this year, the design and building of new steps leading from my foyer to my sunken living room). I am a perfectionist, and luckily for me, Vincent was also a perfectionist in having the work done properly, including any work that required the services of an assistant or outside contractor. Vincent even went out of his way to assist in the prepping and clean-up of my apartment for each job, and any post-job questions or minor issues were always promptly addressed. (Note that Vincent's wife, Cynthia, who handled his back-office paperwork, and his brother-in-law, Anthony, who assisted during this year's job, contributed to my very positive experiences with VJV.) I was completely satisfied and very happy with the results of both last year's and this year's jobs, and would, without any reservations, highly recommend VJV for any home renovations or repair work.

Vinny & Anthony did a terrific job bringing my idea to life. Vinny had a few great ideas that made it to the final product. It's great to work with people who like what they do and care about getting the job done right. They even conquered some weirdness in the apartment design.
