The group of workers, who rarely showed up and seemed to include different individuals each time, made a point of spending as little time as possible actually doing work. After arriving well after 10, they would break for lunch at 12 and then promptly leave for the day at 3, putting in an average of no more than 5 hours a day. Only part of the job was actually completed, they kept coming up with excuses as to why they could not finish. (I cannot give specific details about the work performed as I wish to remain anonymous for my own safety, even though they are gone. I still feel threatened by the unscrupulous individuals involved in the company). Besides causing a great deal of permanent damage to my house, the Park Slope Craftsmen caused me and my family a great deal of anxiety and frustration.
Description of Work: The Park Slope Craftsman were the worst contractors I have ever dealt with in my life. I think of them more as con artists than carpenters.. I had to fire them before the job was completed because it became obvious that they were incompetent.
