 + -1 moreI dropped off my computer and left a deposit to be applied to any work to be done. Adam was able to determine that the connections to the hard drive were damaged. He was able to disassemble and repair the damaged connector. In addition, he corrected some wifi software issues at no charge. He was very professional and knowledgable and I would use him again.
Description of Work: I could not start my computer.

 + -1 moreExcellent. My computer runs like new, and is SO much faster than before. The work basically extended the life of my 7 year old computer, so it was a worthwhile investment.
Description of Work: Upgrade of 7-year old computer that was running very slowly. This was accomplished by quadrupling the RAM. They also checked my software, and removed some unused programs that were hogging memory and slowing thyings down

 + -1 moreTHE WORST BUSINESS IN NYC!!!! I'm not exaggerating. I've never been motivated enough to warn people about a business before, but that is before I had the misfortune of entering this G-d-forsaken store. First off, let's talk about the decrepit and cluttered store itself. The owners/operators are clearly hoarders of the worst type, and their pathological incompetence extends into every facet of their business. The "face" of the store is a man named Adam who has no problem lying to cover his own mistakes and short-comings. Cut to the chase: I entrusted these jerks with a desktop (broken video card) and a laptop (cracked screen), and after over 6 weeks of being given the run-around, I finally retreived my computers ? AND THEY WERE FAR MORE BROKEN THAN THEY HAD BEEN WHEN I ORIGINALLY DROPPED THEM OFF. Needless to say, Sysut Computers would not return my money... Please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!
Description of Work: Diagnosed and (after over 6 weeks!) replaced one (1) video card from Dell XPS Desktop Computer. Tried (unsuccessfully) to replace cracked (though functioning) laptop monitor. Ultimately, when I finally got my laptop back, it no longer worked in any capacity.
