Needed an inspection and there was a slight smell of exhaust from time to time. Picked up an inspected vehicle the next day with no more exhaust fumes as they had replaced the leaky part of the system. I rediscovered Frank and the boys a couple of years ago and my general comment about this operation is, " Why would anyone go anywhere else to have their car worked on?"

They are very polite and good to work with.

Overall, it went very well. They were friendly (and funny), helpful, and straightforward. They passed my car, and pointed out some work (a small hole in the muffler) that may need to be done in the future, but that wasn't critical immediately. They were also thoughtful and patient about helping me wend my way through the process of registering my car in NY. (I kind of got things backwards, going for the inspection before I'd registered, which made things a bit more complicated than they needed to be.) They held the car a couple of extra days for me, so that I could get a chance to pick up my plates. I'm very glad that I found them on angie's list -the reviews here were spot-on.

Superior Care Auto Center truly lives up to its name. Superb on reception, speed and quality of work, attitude, etc. Importantly, the mechanics are TRUSTWORTHY in general and in their opinions on what your car needs and gave me information that saved me money on unnecessary or premature "repairs." They also went the extra mile in finding and removing water and mold in the trunk at no additional charge. I am returning there, as needed, and to replace my timing belt and water pump (as I am approaching the 100,000 mile mark).

I had no problem finding the place, but parking looked like it was going to be a nightmare. No problem! The staff came out and took my car and parked it for me. I was able to go in and take care of my paperwork before walking into Brooklyn. The shop was located just a mile from some great Park Slope locations. When the work was done (about two hours) They called and I walked back. My car was waiting running better than ever.

Even though this place is kind of far away from where I live, I decided to try it because of the rave reviews it got on Angie's List. I can see why they got such great reviews: they're great! They're completely honest and you feel like they actually care about you and the car. They were incredibly friendly and did the work quickly and well. They did not try and sell me anything, and I would definitely use them again or recommend them to someone. Also, they have a 10% off Angie's List coupon!

I highly recommend Superior. All the guys are super nice, knowledgeable, and most importantly, honest and patient to explain things to non-car people like myself. Dominick is a real car psychologist, and gives needed therapy to skeptical car owners like myself, restoring my faith in some mechanics who I thought were all crooks. After some horrible experiences at other garages, and one or two telling me I needed $1000-1500 worth of urgent repairs on my car, I'm glad I was lucky enough to find Superior through Angie's List. The guys did a free courtesy check of most of the vehicle, and kept the labor costs to a minimum with just a half-hour inspection that confirmed that the car is actually in fine shape. They were honest to a fault and pointed out that none of the repairs recommended by the others were actually necessary. In one case, it was actually even a lie by the other garage. When they found a faulty wire to one of the reflectors, they soldered it for me on the spot, with no charge. I will definitely go back to Superior for all my car work.

They were clear and upfront; honest about what needed to be completed at this time, without including additional services.

We took our 10 year old Honda to our regular shop in Manhattan for the annual inspection expecting a clean bill of health. Instead, we were told that the car needed hundreds of dollars of repairs in order to pass inspection. We felt uneasy with this diagnosis, and decided to go for a second opinion despite the fact that this shop had removed our old sticker leaving us vulnerable to several violations. Superior has great reviews on Angie's list and other review sites so we decided to try them. To make a long story short, there was nothing wrong with the car. The guys at Superior were incredible. Honest to a fault, helpful, with an extremely good sense of humor. They saved us hundreds of dollars, and they restored our belief in mechanics. We will be going back for all of our service needs from now on. Thank you Superior!

They are very honest, good natured, efficient and cost effective. They are honest as the day is long.

Service manager was thoroughly knowledgeable about required maintenance schedule for our 2002 VW Passat station wagon. Advised us of potential problems that has affected this model year. completely checked vehicle and gave a full report of condition. Fully explained necessity of replacing the axles. The work was completely in a very timely manner. Dealing with the service manager and staff was a very pleasant experience..

I scheduled an appointment on a Friday for Monday morning. I brought in the car in the morning, let them know I would pick it up after work. They called during the day to say the car passed inspection and was ready to be picked up. When I picked it up, everything went smoothly.

It was great. The noise turned out to be nothing and the antenna was fixed without a huge expenditure on my part.

Went fine. They were very helpful and we'll be going back. Good at pointing out all the pros and cons before we bought our car. Plus they're really funny.

I have used Superior Care for many years for services ranging from inspection to replacing tires, replacing stolen airbags, fixing miscellaneous rattles. They also install and service car alarms. They are always honest and will suggest the simplest fix first; often they fix something without any charge if it is a 5 minute sort of thing. Unlike my old mechanic, they keep up to date with modern computerized cars. My only delays with them have involved parts not shipped by the manufacturer. You have to call in advance to book an appointment if you want the best service.

They seemed very fair, reasonable, and honest when I worked with them. I was very pleased with the work. It wasn't a major fix, but it worked out well.

They are always very friendly and honest people. They are responsive and they do at least as much as they say they will do. They find a way of fixing things economically and they don't give you the simplest most expensive repair. Their options are helpful and affordable.

Great. I have been going to these guys (formerly called Pro Care a few years back) for 10 years. They do great work at reasonable prices. They tell you if something needs to be fixed right away, or whether you can wait to do it later.
