They are really excellent for car repair. They are very reasonable and they are very honest. They were recommended to me by a neighbor because the Toyota dealer in Bay Ridge was so outrageous in their prices.

I scheduled the appt. online. I was able to drop my car the evening before the appt. as it was more convenient for me. They called my cell to apprise me of progress made, and mentioned that they found a the source of another problem I mentioned where the floor mats were getting soaked when it rained. They also repaired a minor problem with my right front fender com a previous accident. The car was ready when promised. They were very professional. This was my second time using this company, and I was very pleased both times. I will continue to use them in the future.

They're honest. Their prices aren't low, but they don't overcharge or do unnecessary things. They save you money in the long run. They're very professional-almost like going to a good physician.

Not much that I can say about their service based on these two procedures. However, I will say that when I inquired about performing a rotation of my tires, one of the owner performed a check on my tires and said it was not necessary at all. This speaks volume because I bet that any other shop would have said I need it done. This kind of honesty is what most people look for when taking in their cars for service and I certainly admire that. I certainly will go back to this shop for other car services and I am nowhere close to this place. I had to drive a long way to get there but that's how happy I was with their service. One word of caution, they don't have a waiting area so if you expect to take your car and wait for it, you going to be really uncomfortable. There is not much to see in that area except for a Home Depot which is within walking distance. So plan to drop the car off so as to not inconvenience yourself.

It was a good experience because the professionalism was definitely there. They told me what the problem was and they explained it. I've always had new cars and needed to find a mechanic I could trust for this used car. It wasn't perfect because I had to go back a few times but I understand how auto shops are in general but they didn't really discover the problem the first time I told them. There was a little bit of an error with one of my requests but nothing big. The price was good.

Superior Care Auto Center were great. They were really fantastic. They are really good with diagnostics. They are one of the best technology equipped garages in the city. They are fantastic. They held on to the car for awhile, but I told them that was fine. They were great. They would email me updates. When you call them the get back to you and explain what is going on. They don't replace parts to try and figure out a problem. Which is what garages typically do. I felt out of all the shops I went to they were the best. They really go through diagnostics. They tell you what has to be done. They are very good. Because I liked them I asked them to really check the car. My car is old, it is an '89. A lot of garages wouldn't even handle my car. I have had it for a long time and am the original owner. It is a nice car. They were really excellent. I have the manual and they said they didn't need it, because they had access. They are really high tech. Superior took the car, told me about it, then reprogrammed the car. It really was only $200-$300 for that job, but then I really asked them to look at other things to. They are my shop now, even though it is a good distance from where I live. It is a good half hour drive, but it is really worth it. I had a really good experience.

I'll take the car over and have them look at it. I know I'll get an honest answer and do business with them in future.

My check engine light was on, which could be a result of so many different potential problems. I was nervous that the mechanic would take advantage of the situation, but the professionals at Superior Care didn't do that at all. I made an appointment (which they confirmed the day before) and just a few hours later received a phone call that the problem was spark plugs. They replaced the spark plugs and I was able to pick up my care by the end of the day. It was also very convenient that they are located near a subway stop so I could get back and forth to work without having to call car service. It was a very good experience. Then a few weeks later, my battery was dead. I don't know if it was something left over from the previous check engine problem or a coincidence. I had the battery jump started and drove directly to Superior Care. They took the car without an appointment, but I did have to call a few times that day to get an update. My car wasn't ready by the end of the day, but the next morning I got a phone call that they were replacing the battery and was able to pick up the car at the end of the day. Overall I received good service in what could have been a very stressful experience.

XThese guys are the best. They have never let us down. Explain everything. Only once in 30 (really, 30 already?) years did they miss anything and they were sooo mortified and fixed it immediately. Sometimes I have had to wait to get an appointment for the car, but we won't take it anywhere else, no where else has been as satisfactory when we have had to go elsewhere. The young men working there now along with Frank and (brain slip - cannot remember name) are well trained and just as polite. Serviced all our cars, beginning in the 1980s with a new Honda Prelude, then an old, used Chevrolet, then a 10 year old Honda wagon, 2 VW Passat wagons, and our current Subaru.

Brought my older Canadian 4 wheel drive Toyota Tacoma to our Manhattan apartment and it became extremely difficult to shift the manual transmission. Looked on Angie's List and found Superior Care. They went over the entire vehicle; pointed out some potential future problems; assured me it's safe to return to Canada in, which was our main concern. The vehicle is 17 years old and they could have had a field day with repairs - a nightmare to an owner of an older vehicle away from it's regular mechanic. They were friendly, attentive, professional. A true pleasure to work with.

I was blown away by my experience at Superior Care. Everything about the experience was great, from the quick appointment I got with a text message confirmation to the detailed phone call after diagnosis to the in person report after the work was done. This is a very professional business with pride in how they treat their customers. I was really impressed and don't plan to go anywhere else. I'm not sure how the prices compare, but I'm willing to pay a little to have every detail about possible car issues explained to me in a patient and friendly way. Thank you.

My experiences with Superior Auto Care have always been great!

I was happy with the service, the courtesy of the office staff and the proper documentation of all work done.

I've only been here twice but I will absolutely be back; and I'm really happy to have found this shop based on reviews from Yelp and from here. I also posted this exact review there. .I'm fairly particular in general. I want the car serviced according to the manufacturer's service schedule. Superior attaches the service schedule to you and your car in their computer system. They know what needs to be done and when. Previous experiences in other shops had the mechanic completely blowing off my request to do what was on the list either doing what they thought was necessary or trying to do a whole lot more. The local dealers have their own service schedules which unsurprisingly includes a lot of extra unnecessary work. I'm impressed that they take the time to explain everything they're doing, and in terms of repair, what is more important and what is less important. The flip side of this is that you may wait a while in a fairly cramped office while they spend time with other customers; but when they get to you, they will give you the same attention and service. The quality of the work seems excellent. The level of knowledge about customers individual models also seems excellent. For example, the transmission and rear transaxle fluids in my car are brand specific, other brands can cause issues. They're the first shop I've found that knew that right up front and stocked or obtained the right stuff. They're not afraid to say they don't know something and will look up information right in front of you to verify it. (I've seen mechanic's just make stuff up on the fly that I knew was wrong) They're going to keep my car running forever; or at least a good portion thereof. Overall, I think they're on a par with the great Stef of Capsule whose untimely demise left many people scrambling to find a replacement. It took me a few years to find them and I'm real happy I did.

They did not charge me anything. They did have a list of suggested things to do that amounted to $900 but I didn’t pay them. They said that if I have done any of those things in a certain amount of time, I don’t have to do it again. It’s totally weird. They told me to come back when I needed anything. They’ve done some simple repairs for me in the past. They also fixed my door handles, oil change and stuff like that in the past. I find them to be very friendly. They explain everything that they are doing. They answer questions. They have a good demeanor. They seem trust worthy especially after they checked my car and didn’t charge me anything for it, and also asked me to come back when it’s time for an oil change. I would use their services again in the future.

I can't say enough positive things about them. They are honest and reliable. They are the best. I have recommended family and friends to them. When something is right they don't try to falsify. They are honest old fashioned service. They are very personable.

I asked them to evaluate the tires, brakes and wheel shimmy. They gave me an itemized estimate which I approved. They ordered the wrong tires which required a 2nd day in the shop. The car drives very nicely now.
