The provider came out and installed my awning on a day I was not home. When I arrived at home I noticed a big glob of silicone at the top on the awning. The support braces for the awning were cheap aluminum and it did not match the color of the awning (awning was tinted lexan with black framing, the braces were white). The aluminum straps along the top of the awning were not flush against the awning which would allow for debris like leaves to get caught in the straps. I emailed Sheldorado to express how displeased I was but I never got a response from them. After 2 weeks I had the awning removed and replaced by a more reputable company. When the new awning was installed, the installer asked did Sheldorado do the initial installation. I asked how did he know and he stated that he could tell by the quality of their work (or lack of quality). I have since referred 2 family members to the new provider and talked one of my neighbors out of purchasing anything from Sheldorado.
