They offered to come here but I drove the vehicle to them. I had bad luck with another company that came to me to replace the window in the far past. My window was leaking after they fixed it. So this time I took it to Safelite. They have different equipment. I did not pay for it because the insurance covered it. They have coffee and some cakes in the waiting room.

I would have replaced the windshield but the patch is sufficient.

It was very good. The waiting room was very small.

I had a crack in my windshield that I thought could be repaired. My auto insurance suggested, but did not require, using this company. I chose to use it, figuring if the insurer recommended it, there would not be any kind of hassle. The mobile unit responded to my home on Friday, May 31. After examining the spider type crack in the windshield, he advised that the entire windshield needed to be replaced as a repair would be inadequate. I made an appointment for the following Monday for 8 a.m., and took my car to their facility and the windshield was replaced within a reasonable amount of time, less than the two hour estimate. The facility I used was at 7102 Cypress Hills St., Glendale, NY. All was paid for by my auto insurance.

My rear window on my car was shot out on Sunday afternoon . I called a few places but no one was open. Then I remembered I had joined Angie's list. I checked Angie's list and Safellite was one of the vendors I checked out. They were too expensive so I didn't choose their services.

During Hurricaine Sandy, a large branch fell on my Chevy Suburban shattering the windshield. I called Safelite on Wednesday and got an appointment for someone to come to the car to do the repair on Friday. The person on the phone was very helpful and sympathetic. When I explained that I could not drive the car to their facility, the fee for a and quot;house calland quot; was waived. The tech did a great job and I feel that I was lucky to get it done that day considering the difficulty getting gas.

I went very well. My daughter was away at school, when her windshield cracked. I called Safelite and they contacted the insurance company, handled all the paperwork, and completed the replacement at the school. They showed up on time, and completed the replacement in a very professional manner.

Safelite Autoglass They are good at what they do. Ask which insurance they work with, if you file outside the claim it might be little more expensive.

Called them in the morning, appointment the same afternoon. They took my SUV in on scheduled time, and repair was doen by the time estimate. It is now over a month later, and no problems with rear windshield. Very simple. Call, and in and out quickly same day. I have no time to waste, and they did not waste any of it.

My car was broken into on 7/2/2011. Because of the holiday weekend, Safelite scheduled us for repair on 7/5/2011. When we arrived at the Brooklyn facility, Safelite had no record of our appointment. The employees blamed it on corporate. We called corporate, and they were incredibly unhelpful and rude. They said our appointment confirmation was actually an estimate confirmation number, but when I made the appointment, the receptionist (from corporate) clearly stated that we had an 11 a.m. appointment at the Brooklyn facility on 7/5/2011.

It was a very good experience. They were very efficient. It works fine. I would go back. The price was fair. I had to wait for them to come back.

Safelight showed up on time to my house and replaced the windshield within 40 minutes.

Made the appointment online (and received a holiday discount); appointment was confirmed the next day by phone. The repairman arrived exactly on time the next day and the work was done quickly and the result was perfect.

When I called them I wanted an appointment for the same day because the forecast was for rain and I had a hole in my windshield. They were very accommodating and fixed my windshield in one day.

THEY DID A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB. THE MANAGER WAS FRIENDLY AND SYMPATHETIC TO MY SITUATION. SINCE MY CAR HAD JUST BEEN BROKEN INTO THEY EXPEDITED MY SERVICE AND GAVE ME A FAIR PRICE.
