It went very well , Wheel Repair is my new mechanic.

Excellent and friendly service with a great value. Open 24 hours except from about noon on Friday and all day Saturday. Went to them on a Sunday afternoon, they took my car right in, inspected it and put on my new license plates for $47. I had the car back in 30 minutes.

Provided service after 10 minute wait and charged the minimum for a 25 year old car.

These guys cuss like sailors, but their service and prices can't be beat! They work quickly  and consistently quote us for the same or lower as competitors. They are polite and have a waiting room where I can wait while they're working on the car. The garage is right under railroad tracks though, so it's very noisy.

They were very fast (1/2 hour), explained everything, kept me informed and best of all did this without an appointment last night at 6:30.  I am thrilled to find a mechanic that's open 24 hours  So convenient and very nice.  A shout out to Angela, a tough as nails manager with a heart of gold.  So great to see a woman working in a garage. Highly recommended and i'll be back.

So much better than waiting for Toyota which was unable to give a same day appointment when the car had a dangerous problem.

They were immediately available for NYS inspection. While I was thereI asked about repair of front fender?took less than 20 minutes and they touched up paint nicks as well. The price was reasonable given my previous experience with minor fender repair. Friendly service, responsive.

Holy cow was this a different repair experience than I've ever received before. #1: Open on a Sunday!! #2: I got an actual person (Alex) on the phone, right away. No automated menu, no waiting, just a live human being who said of course he could take me on short notice on one of the coldest days of the year. #3: Despite my clearly needing an expedient solution-- and despite my being female with a small child in tow, which is usually code for "Tack on an extra 20%", charged me a truly reasonable price for parts and labor. #4-- and I cannot stress this enough-- **We were in and out in less than 45 minutes**. That's obscenely fast, and it pretty much saved our lives today.

The folks at this place are 'salt of the earth' types. They were very much respectful, courteous, and professional. They were able to provide the service I needed within the time frame I needed and maintained their word regarding when I could have my car fixed by. They are my go-to when it comes to my car henceforth.

The service was lightning fast. My car was ready in under an hour; they just pulled it out of the garage as I returned from getting breakfast! The price with the discount was great, although the cashier made a tiny miscalculation and overcharged my card by $3. It was no big deal. I stopped by a few days later and it was taken care of in under a minute! They definitely make customer service a top priority!

I was very satisfied with my experience at Repairs on Wheels this past March.  They were professional and candid about the repair from the moment I called to the moment I drove away.  I was in and out in just under two hours.  The final cost (which included the 10% Angie's List discount) was reasonable and the repair work has help up in the three months post service.  I would recommend Repairs on Wheels to any local car owners looking for a go-to one stop shop that's friendly, professional, and reasonably priced.  Just make sure to research the repair/service you need prior to going there so you can be better informed and make the best choice for your situation.

When I went to the dealer the prior week for an oil change, I was told that my six year old car's tires had considerable wear and tear on the tread and needed to be replaced at great expense. I have owned several cars and wasn't convinced they all had to be replaced, so after looking at several service providers on Angie's List, decided on Repairs on Wheels. They were very busy when I got there at about 2:00, but Alex assured me they would get to it. After looking at it himself, he told me they would check all the tires and let me know. There was one tire that had developed a bubble that I felt had to be replaced, but I was unsure of the others. It took about an hour and a half, but they did a thorough job checking all tires. They found the one with the bubble was too dangerous(as I thought), but the other ones were fine. He offered me a choice of two tires, both of which were reasonably priced and better than the dealer's outrageous estimate. I chose an on site option and had the tire replaced. It was a very positive experience and justified all the great reviews the shop has received.

They were fast and professional. Nice people.

I own several cars including a classic muscle car which I love more than my first born and have rebuilt from the ground up myself, so attention to detail counts. In all my years here, I still  can't believe in a borough of 2.5 million people it is so incredibly hard to find a reputable, quality oriented, fairly priced mechanic. 
Experimenting with my wife's car for simple maintenance jobs , I still search for the mechanic that will impress me with professionalism, fairness and quality.
 Repairs on Wheels is simply a typical, run of the mill, average Brooklyn mechanics garage. Loud, obnoxious, chain smoking "boss" berates barely English speaking employees in front of customers to impress himself I guess.
Go in asking for an inspection and oil change and they find "something" else, they always do. In this case, bake pads.
Waiting room is one of the worst I've seen. The thought of bed bug contamination crossed my mind and I'm am totally not a germ freak.
I called ahead of time to ask when was a good time to bring in the car and I got the typical response, "can you come now, just 15 minute wait", Yeah okay, 15 minutes in Brooklyn mechanic time is and hour in real world time and once again that proved true.
Sure they did the work okay and nothing fell off and they charged me the average going posted rate of $95 an hour plus parts but nothing I saw earned my trust for them to do something larger like a differential rebuild or engine head swap at a later date if needed.
The lack of professionalism guarantees these guys will never see my baby. The search continues...

They take calls 24 hours a day and performed the repair on a Sunday. They found a used tire in perfect condition. The $60 price included labor, which would have easily costed $200 elsewhere. You wouldn't even know it is a used tire and it matched the others perfectly.
