Carmine no BS gets the job fone

The 50 feet pipe was replaced to restore heating with the old boiler. The new boiler was replaced the following week. All work went smoothly.

Smooth! He replaced my water heater. I knew what I wanted (a fast recovery 50 gallon water heater) and he provided a few different models that would fit the criteria and quotes for each. I want only the best so I selected the best model (i.e. expensive) so that is reflected in the overall job price which includes the price of the heater and labor. Carmine is a great guy to work with. He is a good communicator, explains things clearly and in detail. He is fast to reply to texts so you don't feel like you're getting ignored as can be with so many others in the plumbing trade. Carmine has expertise in gas boilers, gas heating systems, and water heaters (probably more stuff too). I think he is a cut above other plumbers. On my block a few other neighbors have also hired him and had great experiences. I would absolutely hire him again and I have already given my personal recommendation to friend's in need of boiler repair and water heater replacement.

I am pleased to write this review as Mr. Politano is a rare combination of skilled craftsman, honest businessman and good person. His trained eye, high level of expertise, patience and personal touch, assures you of the highest quality workmanship and results. Plumbing and Heating are highly technical areas, and you must have someone like Mr. Politano to properly address them.

He came out on a weekend ... and fixed our boiler . Work was efficient, professional and well priced. We have used this heating plumber many times over several years and he is EXCELLENT. We first met him several years ago when he repaired our boiler at another building we own when no one else could figure out the problem. He has replaced our ancient boiler with an efficient unit at our home. and maintained
our heating units and installed water heaters at both buildings. He is quite frankly a treasure. He is a very honest, straight forward and pleasant person and easy to communicate with.

The water heater was 14 years old and showed signs of deterioration and a home inspector recommended replacement. Our 'go to' plumbers recommended Robert Carmine Politano of Primary Plumbing and Heating (7415 13th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11228 718-232-0560) and we called him and he came right out. Within a week he had the replacement and installed it and gave us a tutorial on adjusting the temperature. When we found that he also services gas boilers we signed him up for our fall inspection.

He does excellent work. He shows up on time, does what he says he is going to do.
