He's a perfectionist and his crew does beautiful work that pays attention to the details. He shows his value by insisting that all sketchy surface areas be skim-coated before being painted, and that at least two coats be applied to all surfaces. The trim on our several pairs of French doors is perfect. Cleanup is complete, and his crew works hard to minimize disruption. When his painters have completed their tasks, he inspects all their work to ensure it meets his high standards and has on more than one occasion pulled out a brush at the last minute to fix some tiny flaw he detected. he is also very creative and open top new ideas and paint types and techniques. His prices, while quite reasonable, are higher than your average paint crew but you get what you pay for. For both jobs, I ended up paying him extra based on the services he provided in excess of what was minimally required.

Philip, of PB Paints, did a beautiful job plastering and painting the back parlor walls of our Brooklyn townhouse, which had been damaged by a major water leak. His work is meticulous, thorough, and with great attention to detail. And he cleans up at the end of each work day. His prices are very fair and he is a complete pleasure to work with.
