They missed the appointment day, and then I have to reschedule for a visit!
And the service was awful with charging more than I'd expected.
In addition, I have experienced one of the worst customer service with the company.

"I am beyond offended by the review this customer gave us and would like to present what actually happened, in an attempt to defend the integrity of my company from a blasphemous and ignorant client. The customer originally called complaining that one (1) air conditioning/heating unit was not working on October 26, 2015. We called them back later that day, informing them that we had to tend to another customer's emergency, and would have to reschedule for the following day. We arrived first thing in the morning, only to be greeted with problems riddled throughout their entire residence; a total of 7 air conditioning and heating systems. We proceeded to listen to each problem, as well as follow up on that by looking at each of the specified units. After 4 hours of tedious inspections throughout their 5-story townhouse, we sat down with the customers and thoroughly explained our findings on each individual system. In addition, we gave clear recommendations of what had to be done in order to improve the working state of each unit. Upon our completion of the inspection and diagnosis process, the customers were shocked at the price given, and were even angry that they were being charged at all since we needed to reschedule the previous days' appointment. All in all, it's nearly impossible to keep every scheduled appointment in the air conditioning and heating business due to the amount of emergencies that require immediate attention. We made sure to make them our number one priority after that, and catered to the customers every command the entire time we were at their residence. Furthermore, we made sure to explain every problem and solution in a clear and concise manner because the clients were not from our country. I sincerely hope that no one in the future judges the testament of our company based on these appalling, false, and unjust comments."

Installation was excellent. In the extreme heat of last few weeks, it wasn't keeping up, which led to service call. Seems to be better now.

Installation was good, knows systems and old brownstones. The follow up maintenance was awful. They forgot to put the filters in and never followed up. They did not adhere to the maintenance contract.

We purchased the mitsubishi mr slim 4 air handler system with heat pump. I misunderstood when they installed the line sets they used tin covers instead of the vinyl line set covers. They returned to install the line set covers and drain lines. Eddy and his brother are very professional. The installers are very neat and clean. The price is higher because they had to come back and redo the line set covers. Original cost was $3000 cheaper.

If you had a system installed 12 years ago, it's going to get more and more expensive to top it off if you need to and soon you are going to totally replace it. It's going to be very expensive because of regulations about the refrigerant. With central air conditioning, after about 10 years you typically develop a few pin hole leaks ,which we have a few. So they have to come back every year to top it off. These guys have always really taken good care of us. We have 3 different units and they give us a very good deal, understanding our situation. They've always been responsive and very helpful. Other than the time to replace the system which we probably are not going to do for a while, it works really well. They are able to accommodate our needs in the very first place in terms of the kind of set up we needed for installation. We've been very pleased with them. We will continue to use them. They are comparable with other quality air conditioning servicing companies in our area in terms of pricing but they also do not nickel and dime you which is nice. We've been customers of theirs for a long time. When we got sort of our topping off and other servicing and things, they went the extra mile and they didn't bill us for that extra mile and that kind of thing is important. We trust these guys. If you feel like you can actually trust any contractor is a big thing particularly here in New York City. They show up when they say they are going to show up.

Kenny and his associate came out and serviced my furnace. They were prompt and professional. I described a problem I had had last year in one of the apartments, and Kenny went through all the apartments to check the air flow and adjust the dampers to correct the problem. He also suggested some other things that I could do with respect to the vents to ensure that all of the tenants would be cozy during the winter months. Very thorough and Knowledgeable. Also, he recommended some other changes that should be done at some point to prolong the usefull life of the furnace.

This was a very complex, expensive job. Palone described in detail, the process and everything was done on time (even with hitch's common in construction projects). Walls were open, vents installed, Electrical and plumbing upgrades required. All done as they should be.

They did very well. He does what he says he is going to do. His estimate was fair, reasonable, and detailed. He was always available to speak with, and completed the work on time. I would highly recommend him.

"THE INSTALLATION OF THE MITSUBISHI AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WAS A PLAN AND SPEC JOB. THIS MEANS THAT PALONE BROS. WAS GIVEN A MECHANICAL PLAN AND INSTALLED THE SYSTEM AS DIRECTED BY THE PLAN. WE DID EXPRESS OUR CONCERNS ABOUT SERVICING THE CONDENSER UNIT WHICH IS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 40' ABOVE GROUND AND ATTACHED TO THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING. FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THIS UNIT, THE CONTRACTOR HAD SCAFFOLDING ALONG THE REAR WALL OF THE BUILDING. IF WATER SHOULD LEAK ONTO A CIRCUIT BOARD IT WOULD FRY THE BOARD IMMEDIATELY NOT 2 YEARS LATER. ALSO, THE DESIGN OF THE UNIT PROHIBITS WATER FROM DRIPPING ONTO THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS FROM THE SCREW HOLES. WE ARE SYMPATHETIC TO THIS CLIENT'S FEELINGS BECAUSE NO ONE LIKES A BROKEN AIR CONDITIONER ON A HOT DAY. HOWEVER, THE SYSTEM DID OPERATE FLAWLESSLY FOR 2 YEARS WHICH INDICATES IT WAS INSTALLED PROPERLY. PALONE BROS. AIR CONDITIONING CORP. DOES OFFER FULL MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS ON ANY SYSTEM THAT WE DESIGN AND INSTALL."

They have very shady business practices, verge on unethical - over charginh, bait and switch, charge neighbors different price for the same service. The owner of the company lied to me on the phone, then tried to backtrack when I caught him in a lie. The actual work they performed was fine, but overpriced, and, more important, dishonestly priced.
