and a David and his team helped me create a customized kitchen, pantry, food prep and bar area, utility room with wine storage and workspace along with  a floating island that I use for everything from folding laundry  to serving buffets at my many parties.  The custom built-ins added a much needs sense of purpose and flow to a string of rooms that just didn't work.
David worked with my concepts and ideas, then drafted detailed construction plans and elevations, showed me sample finished and scoring and assisted with wood selection. He managed the entire process from his shop in Brooklyn in a very timeline manner. Many of the built ins had to accommodated common vents associated with the Condo and he was able to accommodate all that functionality without it compromising design. 
He delivered the finished product on time and on budget and spent three full days - getting the installation just perfect, which is a big challenge in my condo that has no plumb lines, or square corners. 
All of my cabinets were constructed out of solid bamboo and two years later there has been no warping or bowing which is exceptional since many of my doors are 6ft. tall. David and his team, hand scored each cabinet door to create a unique shaker look that fit with my decor. 
Six months after delivery I experienced a little surface cracking in the paint that was caused by the common air vents and David picked up the doors, refinished them and reinstalled them at no additional cost to me. 
I have now sold my condo for a very good price, assisted I am sure by this beautiful millwork and am looking forward to having David and New York Woodwook on my team as I move onto my next project - restoring a four story Brownstone.

They were great. I called some other companies and nobody was interested. I brought the cabinet doors to him and they were ready when he said they would be. He didn't charge me a lot.
