Thes folks are true professionals and completely responsive. It's a family run business by people (husband and wife, child and a dog, among others) )who know what they're doing and do it well. Ever suspiciuos of body shops and car mechanics, I joined Angie's List specifically to find one I could trust and work with. I am happy I did because these guys did everything right, but the book and extremely well and in a very cooperative and timely fashion. They even helped me coordinate with the person who offered to pay/reimburse me for the repairs to verify the accuracy of the cost.
I would absolutely use them again and would comfortably (and happily) refer additional business to them. I'm a cheerleader for local businesses doing everything right. These guys deserve additional business and success.

I borrowed my friends car for a vacation and I was sideswiped by a cab while parked in NYC the day before I left. Dents and scrapes on the back right door and quarter panel and scrapes on the front bumper. Needless to say, I had to get it repaired if he was ever going to lend me anything again. I got an estimate from Chris at New York Auto and he was very thorough in looking at the damage. He even spotted an area on the inside of the door where paint had chipped from the sideswipe and was just starting to rust. He was honest with what work had to be done and rather than repaint the bumper, he suggested just compounding and touching it up which saved me money. He couldn't take the car the day I got the quote but so I brought it back the following Monday . He was done by Thursday! Very fast, very professional work. And very fair priced. I am very happy with my decision and will recommend New York Auto to friends and family for any auto body needs in the future.

I backed up into a neighbors car and bent her hood, it was a 2010 Mazda CX9, the body shop she used before quoted $800, I went to Angie's list and found New York Auto, I sent pictures of the damage to Chris and he quoted me $450 although he would have to look for further damage, I spoke to his wife Sophie and made an appointment for the day after memorial day, I told him I needed it by thursday because my neighbor used the car to go upstate for the weekend. I called at noon and picked the car up at 6pm. I was amazed, both the owner and I are very pleased with the quality of the work (perfect) and the demeanor of the establishment. It is indeed refreshing to find a husband and wife team with integrity, and such high standards of craftsmanship, although I hope to never have an accident again should it happen I would go nowhere else. He was meticulous and thorough in evaluation. Another plus is that they bring their Yorkshire terrier to work and he is with them in the office. animal lovers to boot.

I went for an oil change and he found an issue with my oil can, he told brought to my notice and didn't try to cheat me. Instead he asked me to get the car back to him if any problem persists. He also advised to change the oil can was not necessary as the pencil was leaking. I will continue to use his services in the future.

The shop that I use for mechanical work (Alba Motors) recommended this facility for the body work. The owner of the body shop, Chris, was friendly and informative and did not try to pressure me. He simply provided various options to do the repair. The work was done on time and the completed work was fine.

They were super fast, friendly and not overly expensive

Along with the work described above, Chris worked in some other minor repairs and a brand new windshield, all while coming in at budget. He was extremely meticulous and thorough. His wife manages the business side of things and is also meticulous and thorough. They dealt completely with the insurance company of the driver at fault and took care of everything. Lovely people as well.
