OK The company was to clean the rug. It was very soiled as I own 6 Labradors. Some stains did not come out. This company took away all odors.

Great! Team is very professional and polite. They will outline everything before u agree to the services, they offer a wide range of cleaning services, and u can check in at any time. Everything was done in a timely manner and I even got my rug delivered all clean and looking brand new a day earlier than expected! :)

I first decided to use megerian because they are a handmade rug manufacturer themselves and also they have been around for 100 years.... First things first... Megerian rug cleaners provided great customer service. They were cordial and fair in pricing. My worry was that someone may damage these very special rugs of mine. After all they are antiques. End result... Megerian handled the rugs and cleaned them exceptionally well. The rugs were delivered back to me rather quickly... well packaged and looking beautiful. It's evident the Megerians are quite knowledgeable in what they do. I highly recommend their cleaning services and repair as well.

Although  Megerian's services are not inexpensive, the quality of the work is exceptional and especially with antique rugs,  well worth the investment. We appreciated the meticulous care they took with the two rugs they recently cleaned and repaired for us.  From the excellent crew who collected them in our apartment, moving a few pieces of antique furniture carefully as
they rolled the larger dining room rug, to the miracle workers who repaired and cleaned the rugs, to the gentlemen who returned them to us, taking great care to install the pads correctly and again move furniture as needed, the services were absolutely exceptional.  We were especially delighted with a smaller needlepoint rug because it came back to us shimmering and nearly new, with perfectly stitched edges, and we had never imagined that it could be so beautifully restored.We will most certainly be calling on  them again for several other rugs.

The result was absolutely fantastic.  I was ready to throw this rug away, and it has been delivered back to me in like-new condition, even though it is over 12 years old.  It is bright, clean, fluffy like never before with a great feel under the foot.  Its an incredible transformation.  I have had other companies clean this rug, and it was returned not much different than when it went out.  So I thought it was ready for the junk heap.  I am just delighted with this result.  And Megerian was a pleasure to deal with, very attentive, delivery was flawless, right on time and the nice guys positioned the rug perfectly where I wanted it. I had asked for a thick rug pad, their specialist recommended a thinner one, and when I was undecided, they said if I didn't like the thin one, they would come back and deliver the thick one cut to size at no charge!  The pad they delivered ended up being perfect.   I cannot provide a high enough recommendation for this company.

I hired Megerian to do two things.  First, I had a $10,000 wool/silk rug that was soured, soiled, and hardened (it was no longer soft and pliable) after being damaged in a flood.  Second, I purchased a 9'x12' rug from Restoration hardware that I wanted remade (cut and bound)  into a 24' x 4' runner for a long hallway.  I also requested Megerian make (cut and bind) some additional area rugs made from the pieces left over after making the runner.
As for the first job, Megerian examined the rug, recommended that they re-soak the rug to soften it, and then cleaned it and dried it properly.  At each step, Megerian sent me pictures of the work that was being done and recommended.  They were upfront about the costs and gave me options for higher and lower pricing depending on what work could be done.  You'll want to talk to Rose.  She's excellent about getting back to you.
For the second job, Megerian charged me $16 per linear foot to bind my new rugs.  They did an excellent job.  The seams where the rugs had been stitched together were expertly done and the binding (recommended to me, and my first choice from the selections I saw) was professionally applied. 
I would highly recommend Megerian and I would use them again.  I had an excellent experience.  I usually use ABC Carpet for my cutting and binding but they are more expensive ($20 per linear foot) and it takes longer if you don't buy the rug from them. 
My only slight issue is that it takes a while to schedule a pick up and/or delivery.  They seem very busy - my rug was ready for a week before they could get it back to me.  That said, the pick-up and delivery guys were great.  Again, you should ask to speak to Rose when you call.  Rose is excellent and, besides the good quality professional work I received from the whole Megerian team, Rose's great customer service is a big reason why I'll go back to Megerian.

Clean and restore oriental carpets damaged by flooding. I want to make special mention of the person named Rose at this company who was a joy to work with!
