A leaking from my roof required immediate attention. I sent a message to Megels Roofing and the response was fast. They met the appointment punctually. They showed to be a fully license company. They made a through inspection and let me know the options and the advantages of each one. I chose a full maintenance of the roof. An excellent price. I was given a five year guaranty. Very courteous, professional and supporting service. Great people. I fully recommend Megels Roofing and I definitely will ask them for regular inspection of the roof.

The entire team from Megels Roofing was very professional, courteous and considerate of our home. They came to my house after contacting me at work, from an inquiry I had made online the previous night. They made my wife, my daughter, (and our dog) feel comfortable. They were very knowledgeable, highly skilled and answered all my questions, over the phone and explained all options to my wife. I really appreciated how they drove from Staten Island in that deluge yesterday, to repair my leaking roof on short notice, It made a big difference. They really seem to care about customer satisfaction and very personable. I would recommend Megels.

The owner exceptional follow through. Immediate response to questions. The work include a complete renovation of our garage plus including roof, garage doors and siding. Owner Offered excellent guidance through the project sending us video footage of all components of the work. Rapid response and completion of job even before anticipated estimate. His workman were polite, skilled, and dedicated to the role. This was a project that included family my input and owner was patient, responsive and accommodating to all our inquiries. We highly recommend this owner and his company! A big shout out to John the owner and his crew!

John and his team did a nice job both repairing part of my roof and putting down new roofing material on other parts. Communication was good about what they were doing and they also offered suggestions to help fix other problems that they noticed as they were working. They were reasonably conscientious about taking good care of the house as they were working. I also appreciated that they offered me a senior discount.

I was very disappointed they did my roof had to call them back 3 times to fix leak and at the same time they cemented my steps and crackers and put a new door in they did a horrible job with my steps they had to do them over and it cost me 3000 dollars not worth 2 cents the job they did they left the old door that they replaced and all there used materials that they said they would take I called them when we had that big rain storm cause roof was leaking and they said no one cold come because everyone had covid and would call when they could come I am still waiting for them to call and as for my steps it's a year later and the cement is all cracked they are nice until they get your money I would never recommend there people and very sorry I used your company for your recommendations so if you are looking to hire this company for a job don't also I have pictures of my steps very unhappy and dissappointed

"Miss Bernadette, we have been trying to reach you since you have not picked up our calls and have blocked our phone number we try to resolve the issue with you we came back multiple times about the stairs and told you that the stairs needed to be painted with a seal coat about the leak in your roof was very old and we informed you that you need a new roof, but you wanted a repair instead and we came back multiple times so we are here to resolve the issue with you just give us a call and we will come down and repair what needs to be fixed."

They honored an estimate for my roof, that they gave me one year ago and did above and beyond my expectations. They are honest and straightforward. I never felt pressured. I am so pleased with the way the roof looks. They did a thorough and beautiful job and explained every step with video updates on every aspect of the work being done.. I would recommend them to anyone.

Had a huge hole in my roof John and Jack came over took a look at my roof made a assessment the very next day came back replace the wood and shingles and repaired my roof at a very affordable price I was very satisfied with the work havenâ t seen a leak since I highly recommend these guys theyâ re great and very quick ð give them an A+

I had a leak in my kitchen, got in touch with Megelâ s roofing, John and Jack came over two hours after I initially called them. Not only did they find the leak, but gave me a reasonable quote and got it done right then and there. Cool guys. Highly recommend it.

Disappointed with the quality of work. We (family, friends, and neighbors) would not use or recommend Megels Roofing. [Update] In regards to your response, I gave you my card to pay for the completion of the project. The card reader attached to Jack phone and his numerous swiping of my card set off a security alert. I immediately contacted the company. Note: My card company can verify my call and request to pay you. Due to their security policy, I was advised to pay you by check (funds from the card) the following day. I discovered the actual quality of work the following morning. I was horrified and contacted you to make corrections. You explained I had to pay the remaining balance before you make additional corrections. I requested corrections several times. You opted to withdraw the warranty, then as a last ditch effort for payment, you canceled the contract and claimed a loss. You failed to satisfactorily complete the project. After I filed a complaint with HomeAdvisor, you contacted me with a resolution offer to reimburse the deposit and damages incurred if I remove the 1-star rating. I declined your offer because I do not want to be a part of your scheme to mislead or defraud homeowners in need of reputable contractors. I stand by initial review--poor, unacceptable quality of work and would not recommend your services to anyone.

You also gave our workers a tip of $600 which you now want us to give you back! It is going to help us handle this the proper way. Hopefully, we come up with a solution to make everyone happy. The workers were pleasant and friendly. They bargained their original estimate down to something I accepted. The job was done quickly. There was some marring of the site, but they said they'd be back in a few days to fix that.
