They did a great job moving my furniture from one place to another. They took good care of my belongings, were friendly and were very efficient. I would definitely hire them again. My only complaint was that they showed up pretty late (apparently the previous job ran later than it should have?). We had a time-slot for the service elevator in the apt that we were moving into and because of the late start at our previous apartment, they showed up over an hour after the time-slot that we were given. Thankfully the building we moved into were lenient, but if that wasn't the case I am not sure what we would have done. However, once they were there, they were great! Price was reasonable and despite the late start, I couldn't have asked for a better moving service. I do recommend their services to others.

From beginning to end the process was nerve wracking, unpleasant and unprofessional. I hired them for a day of move from a building where moving must be completed by 5. I was very explicit about this rule and they took the job. At 2:00, I was told they were and quot;on their way.and quot; i was on the phone with the supervisor from 3:30 until 4:45 when they finally showed up. I was told that part of the delay was that they and quot;couldn't find parking.and quot; I suggested that I would watch the truck since they were so late. Also, what NYC mover isn't prepared for parking difficulties? i also suggested that since there were three men perhaps two could start working while the other parked. No luck. Because they were so late, they had to go through the back of the building and didn't finish until 7:00 PM. I was moving items to a storage room that closed at 6:30. I was waiting at the storage facility and was assured until the minute they didn't make it that, and quot;the guys will be there in just a few minutes.and quot; We had to schedule another date to move my stuff in causing me incredible inconvenience. To make an already long story shorter, they showed up 30 minutes late for that appointment and were constantly dropping and mishandling my stuff. When the door to the storage room didn't close because things were sticking out after they packed it, they told me it wasn't their problem and that they and quot;did everything rightand quot; and I should talk to the storage facility. WHAT??????
I've worked with movers at least a dozen times. This was easily the worst. I gave them a D instead of an F because they did try to work with my schedule to redeliver.

This is my second time using professional movers (my first time with maxi Moving). Maxi Movers met my expectations and was professional, efficient and careful with our belongings. The move was supposed to only be around $500 but the dis-assembly and re-assembly of entertainment center took such a long time (which we don't blame them for....there were a lot of pieces to the thing) that it costed us double the anticipated price (including addt'l boxes). We fed the whole team food and drink for lunch and tipped them in the end. However, the team leader made a disguised request for a bigger tip after my husband paid them already which left a slightly bad taste in my mouth. Can't blame them but this was double our budget too...what can you do.

After shopping around for movers for my son, Alex gave a detailed and competitive quote, which he stuck to. George and two other men arrived on time and were very efficient. They were very professional, wrapped and packaged everything very well and left the areas neat and clean. I was very satisfied and would highly recommend them.

My husband and I moved from our house in Brooklyn to our new house on Long Island. The Maxi movers crew showed up on time and ready to work. They carefully wrapped all of our furniture and personal possessions and loaded quickly and effeciently. They unloaded and set up the furniture at our new house. We were very happy with the service and the price we paid. Highly recommend them as movers.

Maxi movers arrived on time and moved quickly. The men were courteous, helpful and concerned about doing a great job. They did a phenomenal job and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Our experience with Maxi Moving couldn't have been better. We were referred to them by friends of ours that used them and they too were extremely happy w/ the service. They were very thorough careful and caring with our belongings. And they really took their time unpacking and reassembling the larger items once they got it all moved into our destination. Highly recommended.

I made an appointment for the movers to be at my place between 7 and 9 am. I heard them pulling in front of the apt. at 6:45 am, which was great for me since I wanted to get this move started asap.
Three guys came in like a storm (in a good way). They started wrapping all the furniture in a flash. They wasted no time. I was impressed. My husband was impressed, and he is hard to impress (he was actually worried, because we didn't really know these movers, but in the end, he was glad we went with them).
We moved from Brooklyn to Staten Island, and I was hoping it would take less than 3 hours (since they charge by the hour), and I was very happy when they were done by 10 am.
Nothing was broken. They were careful bringing the furniture up to the second floor. They unpacked everything and placed the furniture where my husband told them.
I have nothing but good things to say about them, and Alex (the owner) called a few days later to get feedback.
I have already referred them to a friend of mine, and she also had a positive experience.
