Marine Plumbing and Heating

I didn’t have a very good experience with them.  When I called them on a Sunday, they sent a third party vendor.  He came to do the repair and he was here for about an hour or so.  He said the wires were crossed on the thermostat that I had installed. The problem still existed while he was here so I told him I didn’t think that was the problem.  He said it was fixed.  After he left, the heat continued to rise and rise without shutting off and I had to call him back again.  This was after I paid him $350.  He came back to fix it but it was 10:30 at night.  He ended fixing it but the third party that came out to fix it had no tools.  I can’t say he didn’t fix it because he did.  It just took about 10 hours to fix.  If he had fixed the part in the first place I don’t think it would have cost me $350.  When he came back, the repair took half an hour.  When he first came out he was here for a couple hours.  When he came back he still didn’t have the part so he had to go back out to a 24-hour parts store.  The second time he came, there was no charge.  The guy that came out wasn’t rude or anything but he did come unprepared.  If he were professional, he would know what parts needed to be changed.

They are very good. It cost $350 to hire them. The other price I got on it was $3200. They did it for almost 10% of the price because they didn’t have to do any amount of work that the other individual indicated would have to be done. I liked their honesty. It took them a little longer to come than I would have liked. I would definitely use their services in the future too.
