KOMFORT PLUMBING & HEATING

Fraudulent business! Charged me $3,375 just to get a hot water tank replaced. I should have checked with other companies. These men are crooks! Beware, especially if you're a woman. They will take you for a ride.

They are still great. I don't have the house anymore. I used to have plumbing for the toilets, bathroom like stopped tub. Honesty, reliability. They are really honest and really careful and really respectful. The workers are respectful, focused, and efficient.

No leak and no free estimate.

I called Komfort on Saturday Nov 7 regarding a clogged kitchen drain and left a voicemail but never heard back. I called again on Tuesday Nov 10 arranging an appointment for Nov 11. I told Komfort the kitchen sink had a garbage disposal and the clog appeared to be in the trap past and beneath it; that the garbage disposal itself was operational. I also asked if they could tighten a faucet and improve the hot water flow on another. The two "plumbers" who showed up -- as scheduled -- said they could not repair the kitchen drain because of the garbage disposal and indeed were themselves too big to fit in the space under the sink. They also did not bring the appropriate tools to tighten the faucet. They were able with a couple of turns of a wrench to resolve our third issue.
When I spoke with someone from Komfort the following day I was told they do not repair drains with garbage disposals. Though we've had other positive experiences with Komfort, we won't be calling the company again.

The company was very professional, arrived on time, installed heater in just 40 minutes and cleaned up after. Water heater is working great. Great service

Needed my old gas boiler changed out in my home for a more energy efficient gas fired boiler.  Jimmy, Komfort Plumbing & Heatings' representative was professional, answered all our questions and had Mark and Vinnie come to my house to look at the required work necessary and submitted a quick, thorough proposal for the work.  Note, I had previously had 4 other plumbing companies come to
my house for estimates, but decided to go with Komfort, not only because of their professionalism, but the comfort level they gave me far exceeded the other plumbers whom I had interviewed.
The change out took one day, as promised, they installed all new pipes and valves, installed a new thermostat, and did not leave until they were sure all was working good and had answered all our questions.  They were reasonably priced given the extent of the work that was required before the final installation.  Kudos to Jimmy and his work crews from Komfort Plumbing & Heating.  Lastly, they gave me the necessary paperwork I needed to apply to Con Edison for the rebate program for converting to an energy efficient heating system. They made a painful process painless.

For the last 18 yrs I've used this provider. He is amazing and he is my regular plumber. Jimmy and Michael are the owners and Jimmy is the one I've been in touch with for the past 18 yrs. He's always been loyal and always the job is as planned, he'll call back if there are any problems. They're not cheap but they're not over priced. They always do a quality job. The service men that work for him are polite, they get the job done, they're knowledgeable and they are always in touch with the owners about the job being done.

They do a good job, and do not charge an arm and a leg like some plumbers.

Called Komfort to report the problem and technicians arrived as promised within two hours. They were courteous and efficient -- and effective.
This is the second time we've used Komfort on short notice for an emergency and the second they exceeded expectations for both price and service.

I have always been nervous about having work done in the house, but I was very pleased by their professionalism and would definitly use them again for my plumbing or heating needs.

Last year was the first time I used them. I found them to be pretty good, so I'm going to use them again. Everything went great and there wasn't any problems. Whatever was wrong he told me that it had to be done and if anything had to be fixed he'll fix it. He came back and gave me the certificate which I mailed to the city and got my inspection done. The company was great and when I called them they were very prompt and came out and did what they had to do and that was that. Their price was about standard and wasn't too high.

THIS COMPANY ALWAYS COMES OUT WHEN THEY ARE CALLED IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE PIPE HAS NOT LEAKED SINCE BEING REPAIRED SEVERAL MONTH AGO. THE WORK IS GUARANTEED WHICH MAKES IT NICE IF I WERE TO HAVE ANY PROBLEMS.
