Exceptional Craftsmanship and Service! I recently had the pleasure of working with KF Kitchen Cabinets as part of a full renovation and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. From start to finish, the experience has been a joy. So typical of NYC apartments in older buildings, the kitchen was awkward in shape and the walls frequently not square and sometimes not plumb, and the solution in our case necessitated custom cabinetry. The quality of the cabinets is outstanding, the plywood components being able to be disassembled when they would not fit through openings, and reassembled in-situ. Each piece was meticulously crafted, the materials used are top-notch, and the finish is flawless, adding an elegant touch to our kitchen, bathroom and bedroom-built-ins. When the original, functional hardware selected by myself for some of our most unique challenges did not perform as expected, the team at KF Kitchen Cabinets worked with me to find alternative solutions and we solved the issues together. The team at KF Kitchen Cabinets was incredibly professional and friendly throughout the entire process. They took the time to understand our vision and offered valuable suggestions to enhance the design. Communication was seamless, and if I were to choose one word to describe the experience it would be “collaborative”. The new cabinets have completely transformed our kitchen, bathroom and bedroom making them more functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. On the day we were to move back in, we discovered that our belongings in our storage facility had succumbed to water damage from a roof-leak. All of our most prized solid walnut furniture, built by the Amish to my own designs some 12 years prior all sustained water and mold-damage. Due to trust and my deep satisfaction working with Jason and the team at KF Kitchen Cabinets, I asked them to provide a quote to refurbish all of it and submit to our insurance company, and eventually this was accepted and KF Kitchen Cabinets restored, delivered and installed all of it for us. It looks better today due to a few modifications than when it was first made. The more I worked with them the more I wanted to work with them; to that end they build two additional cabinetry items to make our office/computer area neater/tidier to my specific designs/sketches.        In the planning stages for approximately 18 months, due to other projects that needed to be completed first, Jason of KF Kitchens was most patient and helpful in guiding us through the selection and option process. When all was said and done, we decided to get the whole kitchen done instead of just a partial remodeling. We selected the Honey Maple All Wood cabinets for our kitchen. 

      The actual time it took for the cabinets to be built was approximately one month. They were delivered as scheduled and the installation took about one week with the counter top taking an additional half day to install. The work was done in real time with meticulous attention being paid to all the minute details that are common when working in a house that was built in1854! The installers were most courteous and patient and prided themselves going the extra distance to make the job a success. They had all the latest tools, including a Laser Level that was right out a Star Wars movie, and every space and gap that was there was processed with machine room accuracy!!! After they were done installing the cabinets on the 'slightly' irregular wall you could not get a piece of paper between any cabinet and wall space. These technicians/installers know their trade and are master craftsmen with a keen eye for detail and cleanliness. The whole project was an unconditional success!!! We are completely satisfied with the cabinets and the installers and Jason for making it a reality!!!

      Would we hire them again? YES... ABSOLUTELY!!! In fact we are already in the planning stages of having Jason and his staff design, build, and install the next phase of our project which is a walk-in closet to compliment our bedroom. It went fine. I made an appointment and came in with the drawer. The owner met me and showed me the workshop where they build entire kitchen cabinets, all wood, if I recall. This is a quality operation. I left the drawer and they made an exact replica in the time they promised.

From beginning to end and throughout my many emails and calls, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience I had with KF Kitchen Cabinets. I saw a recommendation for the company online and decided to drop into their shop on 3rd Avenue. I loved the look of the cabinets and met Jason who patiently took the time to talk with me about cabinets styles and my particular needs. Throughout the months I spent talking with Jason before I actually purchased the cabinets, he was always available and took the time to answer my many emails and sent layouts and cost estimates. From first meeting through the final delivery of the cabinets, he was patient and very informative. he also took me to a granite yard to look over different stones and gave invaluable information and suggestions on what would look good in my kitchen. I am extremely happy with the finished product and owe much to his professional, competent , patient manner and of course a great cabinet product.
I highly recommend Jason and KF Kitchen Cabinets and this is after going to all the big box stores as well as smaller stores in Brooklyn. I immediately knew KF was the place that could meet my needs and expectations!!!

I found the company on the Internet. It's a few blocks away from me. I called and spoke to Jason, the owner. He's very pleasant and helpful. I described my broken drawer. He asked for dimensions and then checked with his staff for a price quote. He told me $120 and that it could be made in a few days. I brought the drawer in the same day. Jason is gracious and a pleasure to work with. He wanted a deposit of $80. My only complaint is that he had not told me on the phone that he doesn't take credit cards, only checks or cash, so I had to find an ATM. I found one a few blocks away and paid the deposit. He he'd call when the job was ready.

I was gone for a few days. Jason called at 9am on the day after I returned, as promised. I imagine the turnaround was a few days, as quoted. I came in that day and paid the balance. The new drawer was beautifully made. They had reproduced the old one but with better materials. I took it home and it fitted perfectly. The drawer had an overhead tread, not the usual bottom tread, so I wasn't sure it would fit right but it does. I was impressed with the workmanship, but also that I could get an exact quote over the phone, and have a new drawer in just a few days.

It was a very good experience. They also make custom kitchen cabinets, vanities and other new dressers as well as replacement. The shop and office seemed very organized. I would go back if I ever needed another replacement or new work.
