JP Urban Moving

JP Urban Moving was recommended to us by friends who also used them recently. Right from the start they were professional with an immediate response when we requested a quote. On the morning of the move, they sent text messages of their ETA with the dispatcher asking how things were going via text throughout the move. All 4 crew members were very seasoned and extremely efficient, wrapping furniture thoroughly and moving very respectfully. I highly recommend JP Urban Moving for the great quality of service at a very good rate.

Great! They arrived early in the morning (slightly ahead of schedule) and had brought additional packing materials to ensure that my stuff would be well-packed. I expected the move to take all day but they were done by lunch!

This was my first big move in 16 years, and my life has multiplied since then (child, home office, etc...). I had never used a professional moving company before and I will never ever DIY again. JP Urban Moving was GREAT! They were fast, professional, timely, and they got the job done right. All the furniture was well-wrapped, so nothing got damaged in the process of the move. They even helped put the loft back together on the other end. This move would've been beyond stressful without their help! Thank you!!!

They were prompt, professional, fast, packed everything carefully (even stuff that was old and beat up, lol). They arrived at the destination very quickly (almost beat us there) and unpacked and set up perfectly. This was one move that went very very well. Would not hesitate to call them again.

They were very professional and extremely nice. The took care with their work and did it with a smile. They took all types of payment and didn't ask for a deposit. The estimate was a bit low but I thought it was low and expected to pay more. They deserved every dollar. I have had terrible experiences in the past and was relieved to finally find a good moving company. I would recommend them to anyone.

JP Urban Movers was personally recommended by two separate family members who used them before and gave them rave reviews for their professionalism, efficiency and reasonable rates. We hired them to move all of our furniture and other belongings from our apartment in New York City to Mamaroneck in Westchester County, NY. Let me tell you that they lived up to their reputation and then some. They arrived on time and were very courteous, patient, cheerful and diligent. While my wife and I were intimidated by all the many boxes, furniture and other items that our five member household had accumulated over the past 20 years, the four man crew from JP Urban made quick work of the whole lot with exceptional speed and care.
The owner, John, was a delight to work with in scheduling the move. While his outfit is very busy, he took the time to pencil in our moving date and confirm all the details including a visit to the apartment to provide and estimate and also working with the management company of the apartment complex we were moving out of to show proof of insurance and other protocols. While we didn't feel the need to aggressively check with other movers to compare rates, my wife and I were amazed at how reasonable the final bill came out to. The last time we hired a moving company was 18 years ago and while our memory is a bit foggy, we believe we paid less now to JP Urban then we did to another mover way back then. Unlike the other movers we used previously, JP Urban allowed us to pay the moving bill by check (we elected to tip the crew in cash). Also very helpful was a pamphlet provided to us at the beginning of the move explaining the suggested amounts to tip the crew. Needless to say, by the time they completed the move, all four members had earned both a nice cash tip and our gratitude for a job very well done.
