 + -1 moreOur first time in an IKEA store, and we had fun looking around and eating Swedish meatballs. I thought it was cool that we had to go pick up our own chair from an aisle and a bin. Stood in a long line to pay a cashier, and the delivery charge was $90 for a $70 chair. That surprised me, but we wanted the chair. From the check out line, we wheeled the chair over to the home delivery department and another long line that was chaos! Took us 20 minutes to be waited on and to fill out the delivery paperwork. Then, we stood in a THIRD line for 45 minutes so an employee could input what was written on the paperwork into a computer system. Chair was supposed to be delivered between 6 and 10 on that day. Never showed up. We called the next day and left voice mail messages with both IKEA and with the delivery company. Never heard back. Repeat for 3 more days. We're canceling the charge, and will never shop at another IKEA.
