He was honest and professional and he got it done beautifully in a week like we had discussed. The men who did the work were on time and worked really hard and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend Genty Home Improvement!

HIRE THESE GUYS! Gentry is amazing! He and his team are skilled, speedy, and clean! Great communication; price was fair and exactly what he quoted - no upselling or “added extras” at the end. Project: install IKEA Pax cabinets to look like built-in cabinets. He built a base frame on bottom, assembled cabinets, cut and installed both crown and base molding. He had all necessary materials and equipment minus IKEA cabinets, which I already had. I’ve hired him again to do additional projects, very happy!

Scheduling needs a lot of improvement. I had to call to lock in the start day, even though I was promised that I would be informed of the start date. Work involved assembling a 12 ft x 8 ft metal storage shed. The workmen followed the manual and completed the installation to my approval and delight.

Anisa Kxxxx from Genty Handyman Services was highly unprofessional. Our office scheduled a contractor assessment. When Genty arrived and saw another contractor, he sent me a text that read Waste my fuckin time. I called to understand what happened and had to remind him that he needed to focus on maintaining professionalism despite his own feelings. I further reminded him that as a contractor, he is submitting a bid and has to deal with competition. He repeated his inappropriate message over the phone and said he did not care. This is very disappointing. Please reconsider this contractor as one of your vendors on this platform. If you need proof of the exchange, I have the screenshots for reference. Thank you.

Genty and his men worked very hard and did an excellent job in rebuilding a deck and it was finished within a day and a half. It was very easy to communicate with Genty as he always got back to me rapidly via text. After they build the deck, they broke up the concrete driveway that was in bad shape and made a whole new driveway that looks great. This only took them 2 days from start to finish. I will certainly hire Genty and his people again.

Excellent professionals. We needed to replace an old interior door that wouldnâ t close. Genty came over and evaluated the situation. He knowledgeably and patiently explained all the available options. We chose to go with a solid wood door in place of the one that was there, and to get a white on-site paint job for it as well. We were very impressed that Genty and his crew showed up right on time on the agreed morning and ready for work. This alone is praise-worthy these days by my experience. The door was installed with exactness, and the paint job was done extremely tidy. Genty even accommodated some changes that we requested in mid-work, regarding the handle and painting of the doorway. He was very understanding and was willing to find satisfying solutions. He even fixed our non-functioning doorbell on his way out. Genty and his crew are real pros, and they receive my personal recommendation.

GENTY WAS AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE. HE CAME ON TIME WELL ACTUALLY CALLED THAT HE WOULD BE 15 MINUTES LATE. GAVE AN ESTIMATE TO INSTALL BATHROOM TILE FLOOR WITH REMOVAL OF TOILET. HE SENT HIS MAN THE FOLLOWING DAY TO DO THE JOB AND HE WAS "EXCELLENT". DID A TERRIFIC JOB AND EVEN SUGGESTED PUTTING THE TILES DOWN IN A DIAMOND SHAPE. LOOKS FABULOUS. HE ALSO DID SOME OTHER MINOR THINGS ALL PERFECT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ANY TYPE OF WORK NEEDED. I WILL BE USING THEM IN THE FUTURE.

It was the worst job experience. The painting on the wall is all patchy and we had to repaint the walls ourselves. It actually created more work and headache to fix his mistakes than if we had just done the job ourselves.

He was hired to replace 2 floor tiles and paint the apartment. The floor looks great, you cannot tell any tile was replaced. The paint job was done very well and looks very good. I would recommend him and hire him again.
