We asked Susan to correct the mistakes of a groomer we went to previously. She did a wonderful job, trimming his legs, feet, face and coat just as we asked. She was very professional and she seemed to show a genuine affection for our dog. This is definitely going to be the place we are going to get our puppy groomed from now on. Thank you, Susan!

Very positive experience. I needed a dog groomer that would make my dog feel comfortable. My dog felt nervous and uncomfortable around too many dogs at one time. They worked with me to choose a day when it was quiet with little commotion. Since that day, that is the only place I go to get my dog groomed.

They are very sweet with my dog and call me right away. They make my dog feel very comfortable.

I liked that Gentle Touch Groomers were available for next day service, I did not like the faciliy or the quality of service provided. I would not reccommend them to any one.

I had Barbara all three times. She seemed friendly with my dog, and said she had 30 years of experience, but each time my dog came out with a different cut. The first time it went fairly well, although she left her hair a little on the long side. It got worse the next two times. My dog is a shih tzu, and she didn't seem to know how the face should be groomed. The second time, her muzzle was all chopped up, and she didn't cut under her eyes enough--where the hair grows the fastest. I had to trim it myself when I got her home. But the third time is when I decided I wasn't using them again. I told her NOT to chop up her muzzle like the last time, to cut the beard all one length, and to cut her ears a little shorter. When I picked her up, I literally did not recognize my dog! Her muzzle was short and choppy again, and rounded like a poodle, not squared off like a shih tzu should be, and her ears were not cut shorter across, but completely cut around the whole outline, so her ears looked like triangles. It was horrible. It took weeks to grow out. If Barbara didn't work every day, I'd try another groomer, but I don't want to have to deal with the unpleasantness of seeing her, but using someone else. Also, they take over 2 hours, and I know my dog is put in a cage in between. I used to use a groomer in her home, so she was never caged. It was just an awful experience from start to finish. To spend $50, then $10 tip, and to be horrified, is definitely not something I would recommend.

If they notice something, like my dog is prone to skin rashes, they point them out. They let me know what I should be doing with them, in most cases they're home remedy types of things. So they are always really good at letting me know if there's anything that they found, that I wasn't aware of. They're so good with animals. They are very gentle, loving, and it seems like every single dog is their favorite dog. They're very special people.

Overall I was pleased and would employ them again.

They come twice a month for house cleaning. I would use their services in the future as well.

They said they would wrap everything in a very detailed manner. That is why my husband decided to use them over other companies. My bedroom set got a little scratched. If I had to do it again, I'd use a larger business. It's my personal belief that if you use a larger company, you can kind of do more research on them and learn more about them than smaller companies like this one. They weren't horrible, but they were probably pretty average I guess I'd say.

The groomers did an outstanding job. I was pleased with the results. They were very good at handling my older dog, 14 years old. I would highly recommend this service.
