Apprentice-level tuner Justice went above and beyond tuning, offering repair diagnostics and addressing peddle and key issues, while explaining everything clearly and demonstrating skill, social ease and grace, and a passion for the trade.

Amy Beth arrived at the appointed time and spent a long time working on our piano, which hadn't been tuned in years, and did an excellent job. She was very pleasant and professional, and answered my questions about the process easily and well. I was impressed with her patience and expertise. Her bill, as an apprentice, was incredibly reasonable, considering the level of her work.

I have had Eathan (the owner of the company), Daniel, and Bimol all at various times. Their level of knowledge about pianos is extraordinary, and their recommendations are very thoughtful. We have a prewar Steinway that is often played by professional pianists --due to its special sound and our involvement with a classical music organization. So over the years we have had many tuners, without a doubt Floating Piano Factory is the best, not to mention very nice people.

Eathan surprised me with his laid-back professionalism and total competence.

After tuning my piano, he proceeded to test drive it playing a "tune" - in fact revealing that he is also an outstanding soft jazz musician.

Finally, he is also such a nice guy that my recommendation is 111% positive !!!

Excellent, it was two sessions--one for repairs and one for tuning. Bimol, the technician had worked on the piano a few weeks earlier, replacing brushing. Extremely knowledgeable and careful. The difference was noticeable even to me with a less "professional" ear. So after he repaired the sticky keys and worked on the action, I asked him to come this week for a thorough tuning. Mission accomplished, Bimol did an wonderful very complete tuning and is a very nice person (in this interaction). Would happily recommend him.

We had a great experience with Floating Piano Factory and will definitively use them again. Tom was prompt and attentive. I had questions about what he was doing and he took his time answering them in detail. When he was done assessing the piano, he was clear about the need for a pitch raise, why it was necessary, and the price difference. I never felt like he was tacking on something unnecessary. Tom worked on the piano for an hour and a half. We were very satisfied with his service and we'll certainly be returning customers.

This is the third time I have used Danieil. Great guy, knowledgeable, professional, personal and Honest. First Daniel came and tuned my piano. Second time ,I called the company I selected Daniel again this time for certain keys getting stuck to the strings. Three months later same problem. Was thinking about using someone else. But said let me use Daniel again. He came told him same problem as before. 1.5 hrs later fixed the problem and apologized for not fixing the the issue the first time and charged me less. Honest and takes responsibility. Now a days, rare. He is good to go in my book.

I have been looking for a piano tuner for some time since my last tuner retired.  Given this, my piano was more than a year overdue for a tuning.  I found Floating Piano on the internet and took a chance.  I made an appointment with Tom, who was listed on their website.  It was convenient to make the appointment as everything was done on line.  Tom immediately went to work  and very competently tuned the piano.  He told me that my piano was in good shape given that I had missed a few tunings.  The price for the tuning was very reasonable and I was extremely happy with the final result.  I intend to schedule Tom for all future tuning that is needed for the piano.  He's a great find.

Fantastic. It wasn't something they usually do but they went above and beyond to research and get the necessary parts. Labor was fantastic and a huge success.

It was very easy to make an appointment online and they were one of the few sites that had prices posted.
Daniel, the piano tuner, arrived on time and politely offered to take off his shoes as he entered the house. We had never had our piano tuned since we got it 3 years ago. Daniel worked diligently for 3 1/2 hrs. Daniel stopped occasionally to let me know if he discovered a problem with the piano that needed repair and informed me of any additional cost. He repaired a cracked key  - $20. He left the area neat and clean after he was done.  He'll be returning to replace a string that broke while the piano was being tuned - $40. Overall, he's a hard worker, polite and considerate. I would certainly consider using Floating Piano Factory again.
