Flat Rate Junk Removal

@Angi-please come up with a way to leave ZERO stars. Some vendors deserve zero stars and these folks here should be one of your first recipients. Thank you. I like to leave positive reviews for small businesses, I will make the exception in his case. These people are CON ARTISTS . Their website clearly states FLAT RATE (like their name) yet I was charged more than 3 times the advertised price of $158 to remove a refrigerator from my apartment. I asked for someone to call me regarding the price...I'm still waiting on that call. I had to call them and was told a lie, actually a few lies. First I was told had more items removed from my home. Umm, no only the refrigerator. Then Sarah (I think that was this broad's name) tried to tell me it was $400 and $100 was for a tip! Yeah no! These positive reviews are from friends and family of these charlatans. I have reported them to BBB and will take further action...that is a promise. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!

I used Flat Rate for an estate cleanout. I got an awesome quote and booked their services. However, when they showed up, they would not honor the remove at the given quote. The guys were on the phone for almost an hour going back and forth with their office. In that time, my husband and I started the cleanout ourselves. Finally, they decided to remove the the items from the apt. Outside of this drama, there are two distinct things that stood out--the office NEVER called me to clear the air or discuss the discrepancy and the guys removing the junk argued the entire time!!! This was extremely stressful given I was still mourning the death of the family member whose apt we were cleaning out. Don't waste your time with them--very unprofessional.

It went extremely well, the junk was removed in a hour, and the area looks phenomenal.

They came out and provided me an estimate. They came and took everything out to the sidewalk and then hauled it away with the truck. They left everything clean, the sidewalk and the basement. The guy that gave me the estimate and the one that did the work were both very gentle and nice.
