I'm going to paste my review from another site here for this company. Fenton installed my garage door a few years ago and did a great job at a very fair price. With that said, here's my review of our most recent interaction: Things have been a little stressful lately around here. We're renovating, and haven't had a kitchen or one of our bathrooms for a few weeks. Yesterday, we discovered termites, and had to tear down a chunk of our house. We certainly didn't need a broken garage door added to the mix, but tough noogies. It went up and fell right down. It's been a few years since Fenton installed the door, but I called them. The man who answered said he'd be by WITHIN THE HOUR! AND HE WAS! After a minute or so of observation, he told me my door and opener were fine. The release handle pull had gotten snagged on something and released the door. He told me to secure it or remove it, which I did. I didn't weep or hug him, because guys, but I really needed that win today. A fist bump later, he was on his way. It's great to know that honesty, know-how, and courtesy are alive and well in Brooklyn, because that's where I need it. I bet they will go where you need them, too! Fenton Garage Doors is the best: hands down, doors up!

If you need your Garage door fixed or replaced the only place to go is Fenton. Richie and his guys arrived at the time they said, started work immediately and did a superb job. They were fast, thorough, and new exactly what to do. When the job was over they cleaned up so beautifully you wouldn't know they were there. On top of everything else they were gentleman and explained everything they had done. I highly recommend Fenton.

Anthony arrived early and worked quickly to replace a cable that had frayed. He was super knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He and his helper even made sure everything was in good order, adjusted the settings and remounted one of my sensors before leaving. Price was reasonable but the service I received was even better. Will definitely call Fenton again.

If I could give Richie higher than A I would. I had kind of an emergency: we have an 80 year old house with its original garage door- wood, very heavy and very temperamental. I had it open to get all my gardening stuff out, and it came flying back down and I couldn't budge it. It's early spring, and any gardener knows it's prime time- you gotta start getting those plants in the ground. So I needed help right away. We called Richie last Saturday. It's the following Saturday and voilà, we have a new sturdy, light garage door that doesn't kill us to open and close. Richie charged nothing for the consultation, the price for the door and installation was very reasonable, and Richie saved both my back and my garden.

The grounded prong on the cord for the garage door opener was removed. Mr. Fenton told me that is his usually practice. He wants to charge me to have someone come out to replace the cord. Work was sloppy. The blue wrapping was left on the garage door railing. The garage door windows were installed dirty. There are two dead bugs and cobb webs between the window and the window grill. There are fingerprints and built up dust around the finger prints on the windows.

It is not fair to hold me responsible others-- I do not have the power to control spiders or were dust may setele-The blue painters tape is proof that sanding of compound has taken place after our garage door install- Is it possible that someone else took advantage of you and you have made me a target of your frustrations?? Richie PS- You seem to forget- A year prior to us doing your job- a contractor you hired called me for an estimate and wanted me to pad your bill and give him a "kick-back" I refused and said I do not work in such a mannor. Remember who looked out for you then???"

No complaints here. Fenton responded to my request in less than 15 mins. Richie knew exactly what my issue was just by the description of the problem. I was quoted and our door was fixed the very next morning. The gentleman who fixed the door was professional, quick and knew his doors. He even knew it was aligned incorrectly after we "fixed it" after Hurricane Sandy.

Had a very nice experience. Love the new garage door. This one is insulated so should cut down on some of the heating bills. Very professionally done and the installer took all the old parts and door. Overall, very pleasant to deal with.

It was great. Richie walked me through the options and was patient with me while I asked lots of questions about garage door styles and colors (because I was really concerned about getting the right color to match existing trim on our house). Richie and his workers arrived early and started work promptly. Everyone was friendly and very professional. They replaced the garage door, surrounding wood trim, and capped the edges. They did an outstanding job at a reasonable price. Extremely satisfied. Would use them again.

Richie has a professional answering service. He returned the call within five minutes and gave the estimate over the phone. He arrived the next morning, a few minutes early. Richie replaced the cables, lubricated and inspected the entire mechanism and cleaned up, in less than thirty minutes. Richie did not up-sell any services or products. He is professional and personable.

I called three different companies regarding installing an automatic garage door opener. Fenton Garage Doors was the most responsive and easy to communicate with. They were patient over the phone answering all my questions and I was able to schedule an appointment for two days later. The service technician was punctual and professional. The garage door opener works great. The cost was reasonable for the actual garage door opener, all the installation work, and a one year guarantee. It also included a keypad so that you can open the door with a code. I would recommend them.

Rich and his team showed up on time, ripped out the old door, built the new pedestrian entranceway and installed the new door and electric opener beautifully. No nonsense, very professional, and incredible value for the money. I could not be happier and I would recommend him to anyone.
