FATHER AND SON CONSTRUCTION

When we started the job, we were told we would have the job done in "a couple of weeks." From the time the contractor started until the job was finally completed took nearly six months. Although the final product was adequate, most of the work had to be ripped out and redone. The first window moldings were put in wrong and had to be removed and redone; the build-in bookcase was built off-site and did not fit, so had to be rebuilt. Some aspects of the job, like installing the stained glass windows, we did ourselves after receiving no feedback from the contractor.
