We found Famurat Builders through thesweeten.com. After interviewing five contractors, we went with Famurat to renovate our apartment. The renovation included gutting the kitchen and bathroom, custom cabinetry, knocking down and putting up walls, installation of hardwood floors and ceiling lighting fixtures. The estimate was within our budget and their previous work was to our taste. Kris estimated the reno would take six weeks, which was spot on. He and his workers are very professional. Kris was able to visualize what we wanted (with the help of a couple of my poorly drawn diagrams) and implement plans to get it done. They took three separate rooms and created a large open space kitchen/dining/living area. There were no major problems during the renovation and the add on costs we incurred were because we kept adding things for them to do! Our apartment (which was falling apart and poorly laid out before) is now beautiful, bright and open. My only regret is that we didn?t have them renovate our two bedrooms as well.
