I was in contact with their customer service department a few times to determine best options, pricing, etc. After a few Email exchanges and a phone conversation, communication just stopped. I called again and learned that the rep I was dealing with had left. I sent a follow-up Email to the person I was told took over for the rep who left. I have heard nothing and have had no response in weeks!
Description of Work: I was trying to arrange to have 35MM slides conveted to DVD.

Description of Work: Transfered audio from old family reel to reels. Figured that they would get the work done, but did not expect that the transfer would be so clean and sound so good. I planned on cleaning up the sound for another 8 hours, but when they did the work, they normalized and took out any hiss that might have been on the tape. Would return and recommend.

 + 0 moreThey did what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it, and for a price that was somewhat lower than expected (the price is based in part on the recorded length of the tapes, and I didn't know ahead of time how much recorded time was on the tapes). The files came back clearly labeled; the quality of the reproduction seemed commensurate with the quality of the tapes submitted. With the size of my order, hand pick up and delivery was included. They picked up my tapes as arranged, and delivered them as arranged. I had no problems.
Description of Work: Transferred many, many VHS, and other video format tapes to computer readable .API files; also transferred some audio cassette to computer readable .wav format.

 + -1 moreIt was awesome, they were really great. It was about the end of January or on the February, I remember because I was going to a conference. They were so professional and just very accommodating because basically he told me to video transcription service and they had a lot of stuff left over the holidays, they were saying 5 or 6 weeks. And I said if you could do it sooner, I'd appreciate it, it's probably 20 minutes of recording time, then they said they'll see what they can do and then when I dropped it off, they were just gonna call but when I actually I dropped off the video tape, I don't know if it was the owner or the manager that just welcomed me and said we'll have this done next week when you come back on your convention. And sure enough, I got the call and it was done.

 + -1 moreDiJiFi did a great job. The delivery person was very prompt. Also, the company called me in the afternoon to let me know the more specific timeframe when he would arrive, and then the driver called me about 10 minutes before he arrived. They did this on pickup and on drop off, very professional. Once they got my photos, they went through them and gave me a call to ask questions about whether I wanted some negatives scanned as well and how I wanted the albums scanned. I wasn't sure if they could scan in the whole pages with the photos on them and they let me know they could do it and how much it would be. They also let me know the least expensive option, then they got to work. I got my photos back very soon after that along with a cd containing all the scanned images. The scanning was very well done and I'm extremely happy. I definitely recommend DiJiFi to anyone who needs photos scanned.
Description of Work: My mother died last November and I brought all her old photos and papers back to my little, tiny NYC apartment. I went through all of them and there were so many wonderful photos and stories. Before putting them into storage, I wanted to scan them all into the computer so I could put them onto a website and share them with all the friends and family members. There were thousands of them, it would have taken me a year to do it all! So I went onto Angi's List and looked for a company that could do it for me and found DiJiFi. I looked through their whole website and was especially impressed by the description of their process, the equipment sounded very professional and the care they take with using an air blower to get rid of dust, etc. They also had great pricing broken down by whether you needed the photos taken out of albums or not. I also saw that they had free delivery and that was very important.

 + -1 moreLike I said, I've never had a problem with this company. I'm very happy with the way they handled my precious old VHS tapes.
Description of Work: For the past year or so, I've been sending these guys my old VHS tapes to be digitized--maybe a dozen or so. They've been unfailingly responsive to questions and done very good work. My only complaint is that they are a tad slow, but I'm reminded that these are priceless memories and I want them to be careful. Will definitely use them again.

We digitize your media, books, documents to our system and use our best to improve their quality, and then output that media to your hard drive or to discs and keep a backup on our system or put your data on our "cold storage" options.
