 + -1 moreThis was a nightmare. The first building took about 11 weeks to complete. As he moved onto the 2nd building, it was noticed immediately that the work was sloppy. Punch lists were e-mailed to him indicating all the problems - surfaces were sprayed over that were not prepped, apartment locks and doorknobs were not taped over, but painted in error. The problems were not corrected, but the work continued. About 3 weeks into the job, it was noticed that all the paint was peeling and it was discovered that primer was applied randomly and all the surfaces that were not primed were starting to peel. When Nathan was confronted with this, he went into denial and refused to correct. He was terminated and the job was corrected/finished by another firm.
Description of Work: Di Santo painters was contracted to paint the interior hallways of a 2 building condominium. The contract was negotiated for a total cost of $26,000 to paint 8 interior hallways, including all metal stairwell railings, apartment doorways, walls and ceilings. The contract stated that 1 coat of primer and 2 top coats were to be used on all surfaces and job completion would take about 4 weeks. All surfaces were to be prepped and chipped paint was to be sanded down in preparation for the new paint.
