CUSTOM METAL PRODUCTS

They were horrific. When they came out to install them it was all wrong. They had to take them down. They were the wrong size and fitting. We had to have them for our insurance. They would not open right. It took two months to do it. My husband had to re-weld half of them and we had to re-paint them. They got paint on the inside of our house. The installers were nice but, the guy that runs it is a disaster. They were more expensive but, we thought they would do a better job. They did a large window in the front and a medium in the back. I would not recommend them. The whole thing was awful. I had to threaten them. The bars are uneven. I would never use them again.

We started with the back windows, Mr. Irving came out and measured, payed up front took 2 weeks and both sets were incorrect.  Single window did not open, Had to open for insurance, only reason we got it.  Double window opened but was incredibly crooked, uneven and the designs were incorrect and the shape and when painted, got it everywhere inside my house, on the wood floor and on the outside brick.  Had ordered front windows prior to this happening.  
Came back 2 weeks later to replace the back and install the front. The backs were correct but still were not level or even, the frame was measured and then all other bars were crooked, just not as bad as before, still uneven, they did get the design and shape correct.  1 month total to get the back bars installed.
Front bars, we had to reject, we have 3 even sized windows in front and they brought 2 small and one large center window and the opening was on the wrong size.  Checked the order sheet and it was correct, they did not even look at the order form when they built the bars again uneven and not measured correctly.  5 weeks later, our homeowners insurance is now rejecting us because of the bars, we stress to them the importance, need it in a week and Mr. Irving won't even call us back himself.
I would NEVER reccomend them.  We HAD to take the bars for our insurance to clear.  They used the same bars as before, tried to fix and just gave up, designs are missing and uneven, we now have 2 openings and one is welded shut, the lines are incorrect and they rescheduled 4 times on us.  2 MONTHS in total for 3 window bars, unacceptable.  
They DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! MR. IRVING is irresponsible and disrespectful, will not admit his mistakes and whoever builds for them DOES NOT MEASURE.  EVERYTHING was incorrect at every step of the way with the final product still messed up.  Install crew was nice, ONLY good thing.  I purchased a welder to fix it myself, will not deal with them again.

Mike scheduled Mr. Irving to come out the day after being called and provided a written estimate by email. I sent the deposit and the work was completed within two weeks of order. The work site was left clean.

Job 1: They are very very good. They're very professional. They give senior citizen discounts. Job 2: I have been doing business with this firm for many years. The owner Irving Boyce-El is without doubt one of the most polite and professional people I have ever dealt with. The work was done in a very timely fashion without a song and dance.
