+ -1 moreInitially things went well. They provided a competitive verbal estmate and sent an installer out to review the project, which they estimated at 2-3 hours. That's when things started going south. I asked them to provide a Certificate of Insurance before starting work, and this initiated a series of unexplained delays. Proposed installation dates would loom with no word from them. I had to track them down repeatedly (they never answer their phone), and ended up with a series of unexplained deferrals. Meanwhile, none of the repeatedly requested paperwork (COI, written estimate) was forthcoming. Finally, I had what I thought was a confirmed installation date and time, only no one ever showed up. Meanwhile, I learned from my management company that CREM didn't carry the standard amounts of liability demanded by just about any coop or condo in Manhattan. They strung me along, wasted weeks of my time, and were completely unforthcoming and unprofessional. DO NOT hire these people!
Description of Work: They were supposed to install three sets of solar shades, remove two sets of existing drapes, and patch/paint holes from removal of drapes. They did none of the above.
