So, here's the GOOD experience I had - Cindy Whiteside actually raised her voice, yelled at me, and called me crazy when I was hesitant about our first apartment. I was new to NYC and expressed concern about the open holes in the floorboards and in the bathroom wall, which she told me could be easily fixed. I rented the apartment (the price was amazing), and lived there for 6 years during which time the landlord continued to ignore my requests to fix the holes (I later learned that I could just have patched them myself after watching a YouTube instructional video, oh well, I was young).
As for the second experience... the specific details would probably identify me, so I would rather not give them... but let's just say that we were repeatedly lied to by the Corcoran realtor and then he stopped answering our calls. However, the cosmos was just, as his wife was subsequently arrested for bashing him in the head with a remote control until he blacked out. It made the local papers as she was charged with misdemeanor counts of assault, menacing, harassment, and criminal possession of a weapon but... all I can say is... I understand why she did it.
TL;DR never go to Corcoran.

Very well. Ben Gernandt was very knowledgeable about the Manhattan coop/condo market, and provided good guidance on my search. He was very responsive to my needs, and understood what I was looking for. I especially appreciated his negotiation with the seller's broker.

They charge 6% of the sale price. It went very well. She was very positive and supportive. They have the best marketing and sell lots of real estate.

This is a huge company. The one thing I think they could improve on is that they could be more personal with their customers. Otherwise, I have to say that when I needed them, they were there and I like where I am now so I have no major complaints or problems with them. They are a company that is literally all over this area, but they are pretty responsive to your needs I think in general.

I worked with Paul Reese whom was excellent in his field of work. He was able to give me all necessary details of the purchases and the break down of the cost. I like that I had different options to choose from.
