Charlie's Piano Tuning

Charlie charged me $100 to tune the piano, but it wasn't fixed. He told me that someone else had to come and replace the keys and do the repairs. So this other guy came and he replaced the keys of the piano. And we paid him like $250. The reason that I'm not particularly happy with both of them, is because Charlie said that he would come back and retune the piano again. There are still keys that don't work, so it was not quite fixed correctly. And I'm still kind of cross and didn't want to get involved with them again. It's just like I didn't want to throw good money after bad. So I paid $350 - I do have new keys, but I have keys on the piano that don't work. Charlie come and it had to be tuned again. And I was also kind of cross because I asked the repair guy what we should do with the ivory keys. It has had ivory keys - it's a very old piano. It's from the 1930's. And he said to me that wasn't ivory, it was plastic. It is just total crap, because it was 100% ivory. I'm not really happy. I think they've kind of - I don't think they're crooks - but I don't really think they are piano guys either.

This guy was terrific. Pleasant, thorough, professional, charming.
I called him this morning. He was available this afternoon.
Best of all, the piano sounds terrific.

He is very reasonable, responsible and a gentleman.
