 + -1 moreWe decided to discontinue our relationship with this company because it felt as if we were not getting the same service as those who had more invested for property. We only had one building and most of the tenants paid by an automatic withdraw from their account. The accountability for people paying by checks or not paying at all was weak. They would not take action for at least 3 months to get rent money. We decided it made better sense to just end our relationship with them and do it ourselves.
Description of Work: We hired this company to take care of our property management needs.

$600 is per month cost. This is a lawyer run business, not a guy who knows construction. The quality of work was horrible, now some of the work has to be redone. All our tenants were unhappy, they created more problems than they solved. I felt he was trying to take advantage of the situation. He overcharged, took me to small claims court then didn't show up. The constant turnover of personnel created chaos.
Description of Work: We hired Brownstone Management to manage our artists' loft building, change light bulbs, garbage removal, snow removal, keeping the building clean and presentable. Anything additional (over $300) was supposed to come in as an approved bid. We wanted to take care of our tenants and make sure the building was well taken care of.
