Eugene is a gem. We could not have found a better contractor who could've done a better job. Even if we had went with a more expensive contractor I sincerely doubt we would've had a better experience. Considering the number of nightmare stories I've heard from so many people, it seems like a reliable contractor is hard to come by in this town. That's why we're so grateful we found Eugene. The basics: - We told him our budget and his quote came in just under. We interviewed about ten contractors and every single one quoted well over with a few even smirking at us when we said our number. We are first-time buyers and had no idea what to expect but knew what we could afford. Some of the quotes we received were so astronomical we couldn't fathom how we'd be able to afford materials. So when we met with Eugene we were straight-forward with him and he with us. He stuck to his quote and there were no surprises or additional expenses throughout the process (unless we had discussed it.) What a relief! - What I liked the most about our initial conversations with Eugene was his can-do attitude. Every idea we had, even kind of crazy ones, he said he could do it. Now I'm writing from the other side of the process and I can happily report that it all was done just as he said. If he couldn't do it he referred the right people who could (for example, built-ins, etc.) and their prices were extremely reasonable as well. - As with any big project, things can get hectic. Eugene would sometimes be a bit busy but he always followed through. If something wasn't right it was always addressed. We were never left hanging or in perpetual delay. Our renovations were done well and within a very reasonable timeframe considering the amount of work our apartment needed. - The final outcome is beautiful. Our apartment is so, so nice. Eugene is a perfectionist in many ways. What he and his crew did from demo to completion is really impressive. We moved into an old building and our apartment was super run down. But we, and Eugene, saw the potential and thanks to him what we live in now is gorgeous beyond our expectations. The walls are perfect. The tiling is flawless. Everything works as it should. We are very pleased. If you're doing your research into contractors I highly recommend Eugene. His fee is reasonable and his work is solid. He can manuever coops and permits and insurance and all that. He's is reliable and he employs people that know what they're doing. He leaves his customers happy and his work truly speaks for itself.

Can't say enough of good things about Best ZRK. We have been using them for home and office renovation for years now. Super reliable and no one can match their fair prices. If Eugene promises you the job will be completed at a certain time, it absolutely will be. The workers always showed up on time and stayed overtime when needed. Communicating with Eugene and his team is easy and during stressful renovation time they ease the pressure. My friends just used Best ZRK for their summer house and felt the same way. Kept raving about great experience.

This is the second time we had a pleasure of working with Eugene and his wonderful team. I can't praise him and his guys enough. He knows how to hire good people, and knowledgeable professionals. As much as renovation can be stressful especially if you have to live in the apartment while it's being renovated, having Best ZRK team over feels like being with a family who understands what you are going throug. We live in the city and many construction companies take advantage of it and charge you higher prices only because they think you can afford it. Eugene's prices are always fair. I know he is an honest person who won't take advantage of you and will give you a fair price and provide the best services. Timewise his team will work very hard and overtime if they have to to keep their promise to you and finish on time. Where many contractors just take your deposit and then make you wait for weeks before they start or might simply not show up to work every day. I work in real estate and recomened Best ZRK to many high end clients and they all were very happy with their projects. Best ZRK are the best and they earn it with hard work and simply being good quality people you enjoy communicating with.

Everything went truly smoothly and was done on time, as planned. I checked in on the progress almost every day and there was active, quality work being done consistently. All my concerns were addressed as soon as I presented them and the contractor was very responsive.

Eugene is excellent! His work is amazing, he's pure talent. He's always on time! Work is beyond words beautiful, he is priced way below market value for his beautiful work!

Overall: Eugene and his team are amazing. I would highly recommend them if you don't require interior design help, and know what you want. Great communication, great, high-quality work. The best contractor i've worked with, and i've worked with a few on other jobs for this apt and previous apt. Before the Construction: I contacted at least 4 different full-service contractors (with plumbing and electricity), some didn't get back to me, some couldn't do the work due to my buildings insurance requirements (co-op apt in NYC), and some provided me with estimates that were significantly higher. Eugene's estimate was very reasonable - he listed out the scope of work in detail and answered any questions I had in a clear and timely manner. He did a good job of communicating with me via email, phone or text - usually within 24 hours during the week. I had a design and color scheme in mind and paid for/sourced all the aesthetic building materials (tiles, light fixtures, vanity, etc.). His quote included construction materials (drywall, grout, etc.). I cannot speak to his design abilities, but did give me good advice when needed. He worked well with my super/building management and provided me all the documentation/licenses/alteration agreements/insurance, etc. my building required in short order, and his payment schedule was reasonable. I had a good feeling about Eugene when he met me for the initial walk through. He was actually on time, if not early, and very delivery-focused and nice. Construction: Considering we were doing some major work, and living in the apartment throughout the renovation, everything went very smoothly. The small hiccups were fixed quickly and the timeline of 4 weeks went a little long (about 5-6 weeks, some due to late deliveries, not necessarily due to Eugene's team), but not unreasonable. Eugene's team was nice, respectful, came in early and left late each day (building has 9-5PM noise rule). Everything was covered very well, and progress was fast. Parts of our new floors took a bit of a beating even with the covering but again, considering all things, everything went smoothly. Overall, him and his team went above and beyond, helping us with additional tasks that he could have added to the bill (painting doors/ceiling, new light/outlet plates), but didn't. I appreciate that he didn't nickel and dime us.

It is not very easy to find a contractor for your home renovation who you can trust, but Best ZRK is definitely the one. After numerous previous renovations this was by far the best experience. All details have been provided from day one. Best zrk is a trustworthy, reliable and hardworking crew. They are responsive, no need to look for them. Work started at the same time everyday and often went beyond regular hours as well as weekend if needed. Best zrk worked with us and provided necessary guidance. We are very happy with the results and our experience with Best ZRK. Would highly recommend this business!

The work by ZRK services was impeccable and gorgeous. The apartment is still in mint condition and there is nothing wrong. The team worked hard daily from 9-5 as per the managements allowed hours. Everyone who came to see my place when it was finished, was beyond impressed with the work. The team was very cooperative in suiting my wants and needs, and always listened to my requests. I would use them time and time again in the future, as well as, highly recommend best ZRK services to others.

Eugene and his team were really impressive from the beginning. All of the workers had a ton of experience and this was showcased with the final result which I am extremely pleased with. On the communication side, every email, phone call and any request was dealt with promptly.

They have extremely high standards for quality and actually care about customer satisfaction. The crew were always meticulous when it came to cleaning up after each day's work.

I can't describe how grateful we are to Eugene of Best ZRK and his amazing team for their hard work, professionalism and strong skills for our very difficult high end renovation that because of him is finally completed. His time line was always achieved. His promises never broken. What he promised us was done. The team always showed up the second they were allowed to enter our condo building and would skip lunch if they had to and stay until last minute to finish the job. I felt like I had friends in my apartment not negligent contractors walking around and making a mess. They did an amazing job. They always cleaned after themselves and were so respectful. they never took advantage of us living in the city as many companies do just to charge you more because they think you can afford it. Eugene is always honest and leads his team well. I recommend him to all my friends and coworkers. Honestly said there is no better construction company I had met and I moved and renovate many times
