From first contact, they were great. Rob Pettit is the owner/design and lead. He was prompt, collaborative and generally a pleasure to work with. I moved into a converted building on the Brooklyn heights waterfront just after hurricane sandy. I had arranged for b&p to build a large bookcase before the move and before the hurricane. Rob got me the drawings when he said he would and was able to turn around minor suggestions and tweaks promptly. He was good at raising issues that I might not have spotted so that there were no nasty surprises when the bookcases and pantry were installed. They installation was ahead of the schedule I had been promised even with the delays caused by the hurricane. The work was meticulous and beautiful. I couldn't be more pleased. The price is not inexpensive, but the work is worth it.

I dealt primarily with the owner, Marcy Pesner, who brought with her 25 years of expertise. What I really enjoyed about dealing with her and her company was the great customer service I received because of their "mom and pop" set up. Marcy's shop provides all aspects of cabinetry from design to construction so any questions I had along the way were dealt with promptly and accurately.
