3 men came to pick up 3 pieces of furniture and some boxes from my home in CT Dec. 6th, 2013 They were fast, nice and alright in general. I told the dispatcher, I need to have the furniture in FL between Dec. 11th and 13th. I filled out the forms they asked me to. I made a mistake, filling in the first available delivery date as 12/15 by hand but besides that, I was told that the truck will need about 4-5 days to deliver my goods to FL. So, if they picked up on the 6th, + 5 days, the delivery should have happened on the 12th + 1-2 days! I left on the 10th and had to return from FL on the 14th. They knew that I had to have the delivery at my home by FR the 13th at the latest per verbal and printed order and I was guaranteed this delivery will make it by the 13th even though I had filled out the incorrect date by hand as an addition to ensure timly delivery! Well, that did not happen. I was guaranteed by Alfred, the truck takes about 4-5 days and I should receive my furniture by FR 12/13/2013 at the latest. I called WE,TH,FR,SAT,SUN,and was only told by the female supervisor that someone will call me back to let me know when the driver will arrive at an approximate time but nobody ever called me to give me any updates. Since my plane was cancelled on the 14th, I made new arrangements to fly home Monday, Dec. 17th. The dispatcher told me, I am sure the truck will be in FL at my home on Sunday, latest on Monday midday and that she would get back to me! She never did! Well, I lost it. I demanded the name and phone # of the driver which I finally received after threatening her with the newspaper and such. I called the driver, his English was so bad, I could not understand him. I called the company back and they had to "translate" to me what the driver was trying to tell me!!!! He is in GA and will be in FL on Sunday! On Sunday, the dispatcher told me that the truck won't be in FL until Dec. 18th or 19th! Unbelievable! I asked the dispatcher to tell the trucker to call my friends 2 hours before he gets to my home, whatever day that would be, but he never did. I asked again for the truckers phone #, I spoke with him on Tuesday and he said he would deliver on WED, which he did late in the afternoon after my friend had to call him 3 or 4 times. I would never recommend them!!!!!
