I've used them for years and I wouldn't take my pets to any other vet. They're very gentle with the pets, they do what they have to do, but they make sure that they don't put any more stress on to the pets.

There was a little bird that was hurt. My sister in law found it. She is an nurse and very found of animals. She knew these people. They were very kind and caring. I caught the Oreo. I wanted to operate on them. Even though she wasn't mine, she had four kitties. They were very professional. They didn't charge anything either. She was very kind and telling us about another bird someone found. They brought it back to health. They were recuperating. They let it loose another week or so. The wing was broken, but they could fix it. They took it back right away. They were very professional.

They pulled the teeth, she's an old dog, and she was fine.

I've been going to them for years. They are very accommodating and seem to be able to diagnose the problem quickly.

I have been using them for about 15 years. We called them and they were just closing. They told us to bring her, they waited for us, they took care of her and they did not try to rush us out or anything. They are excellent.

I will continue to use them.

Several generations of my pets (currently, 2 dogs and 2 cats) have been patients at Animal Kind since it opened here in Park Slope. I initially went to this veterinary practice because it was nearby. Dr. Gibson and his associates have continued as my animals' vets over these many years due to the quality of their care, their obvious affection for their patients and their compassionate care for their charges (and their owners) in emergency and end-of-life circumstances. From puppy/kitten stages (initial health checks for pets adopted from no-kill animal rescue organizations, worming, initial shots), during their adult years (regular checkups and shots, teeth cleanings, etc.), and particularly when surgeries, hospitalizations, emergency and/or terminal care were needed, I've learned I can rely on the professionalism and expertise of this practice of vets to provide quality healthcare for my beloved pets.
In my experience, I've found the depth and breath of knowledge among the doctors at Animal Kind to be extensive, covering the treatment of so many of the conditions one or another of my pets developed and/or the diagnostic tests/procedures they required. On the rare occasion more specialized treatment was required for best care (only twice in all these years), they didn't hesitate to refer me to specialists with the requisite expertise to treat that specific ailment. They put the welfare of the animals first. This attitude has earned Animal Kind my trust and my repeat business.
Over the years, I've also used the associated grooming services. My pups always come back to me sweet smelling and with perfect and quot;haircutsand quot; and and quot;pedicuresand quot;! Highly recommended.

Female standard schnauzer had bladder stones. She got antibiotics and special diet food specific to diagnosis. Hospital is very clean. Appointment was on time, no waiting. Many plaques on the wall for customer service and satisfaction. Doctors are great and they do house calls. They are open 24 hours and always accessible for questions. The hospital is considered one of the best veterinary hospitals in New York. They make the animals comfortable by their manner and how they talk to the the animals. They show they care.

As always Animal Kind performed excellently. Dr. Whitmore was attentive, thorough, caring and put me at ease. Blood test results were phoned to me the night of the exam. Besides the reason I went there, they performed a full and thoroug exam on my cat. A large portion of the fee was due to the 3 cases of special food I purchased. Animal Kind has the best vets and is the most professional veterinary hospital I have ever dealt with.

They're fine. I use them as my vet. It's nice inside and they've always been good.

I learned that all CATS should never eat dry Cat food, or they will likely end up with Diabetes.

My Border Collie, Blaze started limping on her rear leg shortly after we moved to a 4th floor walk up in Brooklyn I joined Angie's list to find a well recommended veterinarian. I ohose Animal Kind Veterinarian Hospital in Park Slope. The entire staff was professional, helpful and kind, most especially Dr. John M (?). He listened to me as I explained Blaze's problem, past history and we discussed the entire situation. After a thorough examination, Blaze would need sedation for X-rays to rule out a torn ligament and possible surgery. Due to the upcoming July 4th holiday and my new work schedule, it was necessary to board Blaze overnight to complete the necessary tests as soon as possible. The morning of the test, Blaze had no limp and appeared in no pain or discomfort. Dr. John walked, ran and went up/down stairs with her to assure she was OK and didn't need the X-Rays. When I arrived that night after work to pick her up, I was more than pleasantly suprised to find Blaze healthy, not needing further evaluation and also saving about $300 to 500.00! Dr. John was still at the hospital well after 8pm and personally explained all the details of Blaze's current health status. But my highest compliments go to Dr. John's integrity as a Veterinarian. I never would have known Blaze did not require the planned sedation and diagnostic tests, therefore would have paid a much higher bill, instead of receiving a large refund from my initial deposit for her care. Animal Kind Vets will be my "go to" in Brooklyn.

We are very happy with them. Their billing section and office people are excellent. Their hours are great especially for people who work. It's amazing.
