Amex Limousine

The bus arrived on time and I (my daughter's father) was one of the first people to enter the bus to check out the inside. It was around 85 degrees outside and the bus could not of been any less then 90 degrees on the inside. I said something to the driver and assistant and they both ignored me at first but then admitted that the bus began getting hot shortly after they left the garage in Brooklyn and the air conditioning apparently was no longer working. Being it was 90+ degrees inside, the parents collectively decided it was not safe for them to travel in the bus to their destination about 40 minutes away. The windows in the bus do not open and the air conditioning was not working. Even if no one fainted or got really sick from the heat, they were dressed in prom attire and would look horrible when they arrived at the prom. We spoke with people at the company who said they would have to return this bus to their gargage and replace it with another. The decision was made to have the parents drive all the kids over to the prom as they already had missed 20 minutes of the prom as the parents discussed the situation with the company. The bus company eventually arrived back at the place of the prom about 1/2 hour later than they originally promised and all else went fine for the night. On Friday, we began discussing with the company how they would make the kids whole for this experience. Their answer "we did everything we were suppose to and feel no need to adjust our price" despite their not being able to provide the ride to the prom they were hired for. These guys are sleazy and I would beware before hiring them.
