He arrived on time and went way above and beyond. He fixed not just the lock but gave advice about the door replacement that is imminent and did minor fixes to two other doors quickly and for no extra charge. A good guy.

They were very responsive and punctual. But when it came to explaining the final cost there was a lack of clarity. The cost very quickly spiraled out of control and ended up being far more expensive than first planned out. There were cheaper options which I wold have taken if I knew the final price would have been so high. It was a lack of communication which got us to the issue. They completed the job in a professional manor, I was just left frustrated by the high cost.

"Thanks for review, but I must say our tech treated you more than fairly for the work he did for you..You were unable to open a door and he opened it for you, then we changed a whole lock for you, and its not a cheap lock. You asked if we could discount for you and we did! ..He also gave you a cylinder for free!! And extended the warranty period for you as well...So how did it spiral out of control? We even waived the service charge for you! Despite what you think or how you feel or what anyone else has told you...you were given a great price and professional job....and we were upfront with you about prices! Its very disappointing when we try do the right thing for someone how ungrateful they turn out to be!"

They came to service the lock. They key extraction was $55 and the service fee was $45. I did not like the service because when he gave me the bill it stated the lock was for the gate lock not a front door. He would not correct the invoice to show the proper lock that was serviced. Also they have never charged me a service fee and they used give me a discount for being an Angie's List member which they did not. They seem to have new employees in the office.

Excellent. All Star arrived within 30 minutes of my call and completed the work well within an hour. The fee for the service call was excellent. The replacement lock was priced at an emergency services price, which I didn't think about when the terms were agreed upon on the appointment call, but that's to be expected. Great service & I would call them again.

On my contact with them, they said they will send in a most experienced trusted man. Chris, They sent a young man and he gave an estimate. They asked for half of the money first. He was doing two locks and the third one was free. He didn't put the closure properly on two doors. So the doors were not working properly. And he said there was something wrong with the door, so he refered me to another person, who is Ernest. Ernest came to fix the door, but he was able to see right way that the issue is with the closure. So he fixed the closure on both doors. My son came and looked at the price of the things Chris charged. He charged 4double and some triple for the itmes. Alarm system 415 but on the computeer it is only 157. The closure is also over priced. 295 each when it is only 127. He didn't being any brand names. The panic bar does not have a name on it. it ranges from 59 to 159. For the entire job he charged more than $2300.00 I talked to the manager, Joey, and he said that Chris is an experienced man and that the price was reasonable, He said that prices in computer is always unreliable.

"The prices your refering to are cost for parts, not including labor and installation. It is not accurate because, we did not use same brands you are talking about. Chris gave u a lock for free! Plus he did a great job for you, we needed to send ernest to you to tweek the door closers. We did not charge you anything extra. We only charged you exactly what was quoted to you, nothing more. And per our conversation on the phone everything is working fine with no issues. And yes when u see prices online they are usally advertised underpriced and when u have to return parts you need take it off, ship it back, wait for new part to come which leaves you with nothing till you recieve new part and then need to reinstall it which is nothing more then a waste of time and money, we stand behind our installation with a 90 day warranty for installation. Chris explained everything to you before we started any work for you and was very respectful to you despite that fact you stood over him overbearing on him while he worked. Not very nice! As i told you we gave you very fair prices for what we did for you! Your only complaint was that u said chris was to young, hes 30 yrs old with over 15 yrs experience and he did a fantastic job for you. You can confirm that by reading some of our other reviews here about chris"

Chris was on time. Kept me informed . Gave me install options and I chose higher quality lock. He explained how another set can be made. Very professional. I will use him again in future, if needed. Job was done fast. Lock price is high.

It was fine. Expensive but fine. Very expensive and it only took him about 15 minutes. He came in, He was punctual. He got the job done fast. My only complaint is the expense. Had I know it was going to be that much I would have gotten estimates from other places. But since I had bought the coupon, I did not want it to go to waste. I did not have time. He was going to charge me anyway for coming in. Very expensive.

They were great. I called a few times to double and triple confirm the appointment time since I have had a number of no-shows in the past from other contractors. They were easy to schedule and showed up on time. They performed the repairs quickly and for a good price. Will definitely use again in the future.

The owner came within two hours and after examining the lock, both inside and out, showed me what the problem was and advised, based on the wear and tear, that it should be replaced. I took his advice and he performed the replacement immediately.

I needed a repair on a deadbolt mechanism on the main door of my apartment. The locksmith, Dennis was punctual, efficient, and professional. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. I thought I needed to replace my old mortise lock on my front door. I bought a replacement lock, but couldn't install myself. All Star came right away and discovered that I didn't need to replace the entire lock, just a few pieces. The price was reasonable. I greatly appreciated their honesty and integrity. All in all, I saved money and have a working front door!
