Polite, professional, on time. Edward (owner of company) arrived within a reasonable time of the appointment. (He had given me a one-hour time range, which was more than fair and was about 30 minutes late...no problem.) He quickly assessed that the vent could be cleaned from the floor where the dryer is located rather than roof and brought in an extremely large vacuum cleaner (larger than a shop vac). He pointed out some damage to the tubing connecting the dryer to the vent riser and repaired it temporarily with metal tape. Before he left he checked the functioning of the dryer. I gave a B for price because it is always so expensive to have any work done and her certainly wasn't cheap. I know from comparing with another quote that this is in line with what is generally charged.

I had called another duct cleaning service and was quoted double what Advanced Duct Services did the job for. I was able to schedule service for the following Saturday between 8:30 - 9:00. The owner and an assistant knocked on my door at 8:30 and were ready to work. They were pleasant, respectful, and professional. They took off all vent covers to access ducts for cleaning and replaced them. After cleaning dryer vents they reinforced connections w/ aluminum tape. They replaced furnace filters and took the old ones, along w/ all trash w/ them. The owner offered helpful advice on keeping birds out of dryer vents. They were thorough, efficient, only taking 30 - 40 minutes per apartment. Highly recommended.
