Absolute concrete finishing inc

See my already submitted review here on Angie's list! It was a bad job and a company that should not qualify to be on your website. The contractor did a sloppy job that he was supposed to return and fix. But he disappeared; and left un-removed bags of concreted trash and other miscellaneous items on my front yard. I am considering a civil suit …. I already submitted a review. Why again?

Leonel Reyes of Absolute Concrete finishing at first was very flexible and responsive. The warning signs were there when I analyzed his constant trashing of his partner to me. I gave Leonel a measured plan of the areas showing the part that that needed concrete filling and the part that already had the old concrete and did not. I explained to him that I wanted both sides to be distinguished from one another. Leonel tried to dump rocks in the area that needed concrete without using or providing the necessary metal mesh. I had to demand that he proceed the correct way. He ordered a premixed concrete truck delivery and had 2 guys to help him do the job. By the time they were done, the job was sloppy with concrete slopped all over the yard over the old concrete; and almost half the area was lumpy with a rough rocky surface. The finishing was nothing like the professional concrete job that I'd expected. I paid Leonel; they worked hard; but that does not make up for a bad job; after I pointed out to him that a huge part of the surfacing was too rough, he promised to return a month after the concrete dried to provide the proper finish; I left him a number of messages; he responded to one; he then ignored the follow-ups; it's been a couple of weeks now. Leonel of Absolute Concrete Finishing not only did a bad and unprofessional job, he has also turned out to not be a person of his word. This performance is worthy of a refund. Customer beware!
